My friend you are living in a dream world very nice for those that can afford it namely the political class and the rich or to be more precise the corrupt who have driven the Ghanaian economy into the ground and in a vane effort to stabilize the Cedi are flooding the market with US dollars unfortunately this has never been long term solution because you need enormous amount of dollars.

@@WODEMAYA Wode Maya, that will be suicidal!!! Capitalism does not hold all solutions to the problems of society. No society or country should completely leave the business of education, housing, food, clothing, water supply, energy and healthcare in the hands of private sector. Capitalism does not know human face. Everything in that Airport city is purely for extreme profit. I think China has proved to the world that mixed economic system is the best option.

The problem in Ghana is the inability of the government to manage the currency, thus making the cedi the worst performing currency in the world; even worse than those of our much poorer neighbours. Secondly, price increases in Ghana are far steeper than it is anywhere; thus prices petroleum products are far more expensive than our neighbours, even though they don't produce oil like we do. Why should it be so? Ghana's problems are unique, and they have got to do more with incompetent managers of the country. Please don't compare oranges to apples in terms of worldwide price increases; the minimum wage in the US is not less than $10 an HOUR; it is about £9 in the UK for an HOUR. That hourly wage can buy more than 2 gallons of petrol (a daily wage of 8 hours can thus buy more than 16 gallons of fuel); but in Ghana, the minimum wage is 13 cedis for a whole DAY, while the cost of a gallon of petrol is 81 cedis. Thus, it will take more than 6 days minimum wage to buy just one gallon of petrol, so stop that useless comparison. Our government is just useless, the worst Ghana has seen since independence.

@@ibrahimissaka5208 that’s your opinion Here in America and abroad, one bedroom apartment is no less $1,500 dollars monthly depending on the area you live, you have to pay not less than $100.00 dollars electric bill depending on where you live or if you own a house it’s even more expensive. Not to mention about $450.00 dollars fuel to heat your house, if you own a house, not to mention transportation, food, phone bill, taxes on your weekly pay, taxes on anything you buy, as well as water bills if you own a house. By the time you make all these bill payments, you barely have any money left. That’s why many people work double shifts or 16 hours a week just to be able to have extra money to send home to their families. Rain or shine or snow, we have to go to work, no excuses, no lateness or you get fired. Some people even live on borrowing money from the bank or credit cards, Some live In their cars or are homeless due to higher rent prices. If you know anyone abroad, ask them everything I just talked about. The stress here abroad is unimaginable. Watch world news to educate yourself about what is going on around the world. I believe that if we all stop buying foreign goods and start producing our own products and food, it will go a long way to help the economy. We have a large population of young people in Ghana and if we start buying lands in our villages and start growing our own food, eat some and sell some, it will help. Farming is the next big money making business in the world. If we get a little money, we should invest in buying land in the villages and start growing food. Little by little things we will be better and not depend on anyone or government. We should also do the best we cat to help Ghana become a better place for us and generations to come. We should start growing lots of trees to beautify our neighborhoods and keep our environment clean. With change of mindset we can also make a change in our beloved Ghana 🇬🇭🙏

😍🥰What caught my eye most on here is how friendly businesses are to each other. They may be competitors but they are also collaborators with each other. Again, I've noticed that businesses owners don't think like individuals. Kudos, Wode Maya

#ImMaya! Am quitting my office Job to start up my own business in My Village because of your inspirational and encouragements! It's a hard risk for me to take since the finance is too low but am going back on a loan just like how you did it when you were leaving china. I believe sometimes it's risky and seems hard but at the end of it all, it's worth it! Am not praising you bro but just know that your message is always positively delivered. Glory to God 🙏

I entered the Alantic Towers for the first time to take my biometrics as part of preparations for my visit to Australia. It was also my first time of really exploring the airport city. Trust me, its a place to be proud of as Ghanaians. Thanks for showcasing this to the world bro

Wow, you make me want to go to Accra. I'm also considering Dakar. I live in the USA. It's expensive to fly directly to Africa from the USA. It's cheaper to go from Dublin and then to an African city. I'm thinking of doing that.

I think they do it intentionally. There are flights from USA to london for $400 round trip but to to Africa is $1000-$3000

Grt video i am maya. How i wish my south eastern part of Nigeria like imo ,anambra, Abia, enugu, calabar, akwaibom can emulate this but rather they chose to go to lagos , America to buy houses and abandoned the grt place worth of development. Most of houses there are depleted. Eastern governors doesn't care for their homeland .

Love you guys so much. Great content as always 🙏🏾❤❤ As we develop. Let's not forget to incorporate lots of greenery, tree...public spaces to come together and enjoy...public spaces for children to come together and play. Good for the environment and good for humanity. Otherwise all we will have is concrete urban jungles.
