The dog climbing the fence then getting to the top and turning around to go down on the other side has got it all figured out!!! Dogs are so incredibly smart, we don't deserve them. Watching them and all they are capable of doing is absolutely amazing.

Very impressive. Loved the fence climber. The ice breaker. The bull terrier wanting to play when he was held. This way is a command I often use. My cane corso also sits by bathroom doorway but she keeps her distance bc that's where the bath is....I'm surprised that she doesn't understand that we weigh the same & I can't lift her by myself

I'd be afraid the dog's more likely to get hurt since it has memory of those rungs. Maybe a different set up all together. For me, at this point, the dog's smart enough to have that figured out... let em be free.

1:12 dogs are so pure, my pups hated it when I got down, didn’t like it when I was angry and got to yelling to myself, they made me chill out ‘cause I didn’t want to upset them. I’m seriously going horse since they passed. getting a bit dehydrated from tears too

So dogs don't get the concept of ritual burial. It's a cute thought, but thats 100% just scavenging behavior. he's burying a stinky treat for later.

I don't know about that. The person that posted said that the dog was whining. It might have see it's owners burying a dead pet before. Who knows for sure. Animals never fail to amaze me.

I know a few things when it comes to bereavement. When it comes to animals, especially dogs, they grieve just like we do. I've seen the deceased beloved K9s appear to even sob when they realize their master has passed. I would be willing to bet you $$$ that the pooch in the last video is doing exactly what is being insinuated. Just because they can't verbally speak doesn't mean they don't feel love & sympathy, my friends 🎈🎈🎈🎈

@@the_shy_mortician I didn't say they don't have feelings. Many animals certainly mourn their dead. I said they don't bury their dead - apart from humans, the only animals known to do this are elephants, magpies and maybe chimpanzees. Dogs, on the other hand, are known to have a strong stashing instinct, which is a simpler explanation for what is seen in the video. Occam's razor.

My dog buried it's puppy and did not dig it up and it eat and also buried a kitten that died from being hit by a truck and my dog didn't eat it after it was buried. I've not clocked any dead people's bodies casually lying about my city, yet.! daaamn;)! intense or what it's the economic crisis I guess? lol fyi, I know they meant furry companions please don't explain it youtube. i know u would lol still, what do u think happens when furry companions die? I know that some people still bury them tho it's illegal and should be disposed of by a veterinary clinic

Because we live with them. It's like having a sibling. I did it to my sisters all of the time. I do it to my husband... I blow on my dog's face. Does he love it? No. His reaction is hilarious. Does he know I love him? Yes.

When you're sad or upset you emit pheromones that can tell your dog you need some extra loves. When you pretend to be sad you aren't emitting sad pheromones, you're just confusing your dog. I get my thunderphobic dog a pheromone calming collar for fireworks holidays. It emits the pheomones of a nursing mama dog and turns him into a bigger snuggle buddy than he already is. I KNOW how much the pheromone collar helps my dog. Powerful things. Bud's reaction when he meets people tells me plainly if they aren't to be trusted. He hasn't been proven wrong in 10 years. How'd I get so lucky? He found my door when he was dumped. My first purebred dog and he was someone's trash. He walked in the house like he was home. Absolutely charming and delightfully well behaved (vet thought he wasn't quite a year old), but he didn't know how to play. He's never been interested in playing, just smelling things and eating. And cuddling with Mom. Longhaired dachshunds are really into some serious cuddling.

Sooooooooo smart. Almost spooky at times he's so good at figuring stuff out. He figured out how to get himself to where he could be reached by a human when he slid down our lawn on a 4" thick sheet of solid ice. Our neighbor had spiked boots so she rolled out a runner-rug once he had wriggled himself into her yard thru the fence. She rolled out the rug and he climbed on. He was awful glad to be in someone's arms. It was 4°F I thought I was going to have to call non-emergency to see if they'd come rescue my dog. The 'tank' of the canine world and he could not find traction on that smooth as glass ice slope and I was not equipped to rescue him. Thankful for neighbor Kate!
