This is such a powerful testimony. I wish every woman, especially the younger ones, could hear this. I’ve really enjoyed listening to your make up series and your video about modesty. Could you make a video pertaining to jewelry?

It’s awesome how our surrender in obedience to Holy Spirit can show us our idols and transform our hearts. I am grateful for the ladies that give up mark up (Graffiti on Yahweh’s masterpiece), embrace femininity, headcovering, or modesty, they are an encouragement and they become so radiant with Yahweh’s Spirit.

Hi Sis Maddy, This is an excellent video! When I gave up wearing makeup a little over a year ago, it was so hard for me to do that at first.But I knew I had placed make up as an idol then, and I knew I had to let it go.So I did.I still don't wear make up anymore and I've finally accepted how I look with no make up on. It took me quite awhile though.I love God with all of my heart, mind, soul and strength and I just want to serve Him on His terms always! :) Your videos will help alot of people!God bless you, Ginger

Thank you Ginger! I think it’s really fascinating how when you stop altering your appearance you become content with it. It’s very opposite of what the world tells us! @JazzyGinger1

Hey Maddie, I have to say you are beautiful on the inside and out and you don't look like a man. You have helped me so much in so many ways. I remember when I started watching your videos and you were talking about your head covering and veiling. And how you helped me in so many ways and you wrote back to me and gave me words of encouragement tell me to follow my heart with God and to lean into him and pray. Shortly after that I started covering my head / veiling for God. And I have to tell you I feel so safe and secure. I feel naked if I go without it. I never really truly wear makeup that much so makeup was not much of a thing for me. But I do do a lot of face filters that made me look like I wear makeup and I don't feel convicted of that. But I am glad you followed what God has called you to do and I'm glad you're making these videos for the rest of us ladies out here. Who need help or feel like God is calling us to do something in our lives. Thank you so much for everything you do. God bless you Maddy.❤💯 Thank you for your prayer Amen and Amen In Jesus Name We Pray Amen🙏🙏

If we never started with makeup this wouldn't even be a problem. Now mix makeup with airbrushing and cgi and we dont even know real much anymore. Movies TV all fantasy, cindy Crawford said she doesnt even look like cindy crawford until 3 hours of makeup..

As a married woman how do I dress modest when my husband is not in support of it. God told me to do away with makeup, waive on , just to dress modest but my husband is not in support of all this.. what do I do, so times I doubt in my is this God speaking to me or what?
@overandoverand
@overandoverand 29 күн бұрын
Why is your husband not in support in you wanting to dress modestly? I assume that he wants you to look attractive, beautiful, even “sexy”, and he has probably seen women who dress modestly, who don’t wear weaves, and who do not wear makeup, and he sees that they are not outwardly attractive in appearance, and he does not want this to happen to you. He likely wants you to remain physically attractive. Of course, God has already made you beautiful naturally, He made you fearfully and wonderfully. God wants everyone to stop putting on makeup. What does make up mean? For example, if someone tells a lie, they will *make up* a story to deceive someone else. Yes, makeup is popular, but sin is. And so is the broad path to destruction. Makeup is popular, just as eternal damnation and separation from the Most High God is. In the world, physical attractiveness is highly esteemed. Not just that, but the striving to be even more attractive, even more good looking. No matter what, it’s all about lust and pride, I know that as someone who used to strive to be even more good looking all the time. You know what that brought me? Nothing but woe. Woe is sorrow and distress. The most good looking people on earth, not the naturally good looking, but the multitudes who have fallen into the trap of striving, working to be SEXY, are not satisfied or fulfilled with this. It will never help, only bring harm. Matthew 18:7, Jesus says “Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” The devil has managed to make being “that man by whom the offense comes”, the person that tempts people, the person that makes people sin, a POPULAR ARTFORM. Old and young everywhere, in the world, esteem this evil. Look at the world. Due to the highly esteemed SIN, it is RESPECTED, ADMIRED, WANTED, DESIRED, and made out to be a blessing, although it brings WOE, to make others lust. It brings glory and honor and praise to ourselves instead of God. It makes us the idol, the god. And the people follow through because it appeals to the lust of our eyes, flesh, and pride of life. Being preoccupied with our appearances is not what God made us for. Someone may LOOK good, but that does not mean they ARE good. The Pharisees looked clean, but Jesus called them tombs that were clean on the outside, but full of the bones of the dead inside. But this world, the prince of the world being the devil, does not truly care about women, or men for that matter, because men are taught that physical attractiveness is of the utmost importance as well. We know that the devil is the enemy, who not only does not care, but hates us, and wills for us to perish. God is SO GOOD, He does not want us to have woe while tempting others to sin! The devil would rather have you enjoy a high that comes from sin, for you to enjoy evil pleasures in life, and end up in destruction I encourage you to tell your husband that God has told you to do this. May the Lord bless you and your husband and your family as you take these steps to modesty. Be not afraid of change as you take steps toward holiness as God holds your hand. Remember, holiness, purity, and childlikeness is precious to God. Children, young children, who have not yet been stained by the sin of the world, are not worried about how they look.

were you married already when God did this work in you? I feel him doing this in me but I'm afraid because I'm 31 and still single!! How will I ever attract a man ridding myself of all my earthly beauty? He's changed my view on beauty I really feel beautiful when I let go of the fakeness.. I want to be clothed in humility as my beauty.. Christ in me.. but I really worry about finding a husband - any thoughts? ps the sound on your video sounds completely normal and good to me
@MadddyKayy
@MadddyKayy 4 ай бұрын
I totally get that. I will say that when you use your physical beauty to attract a man, that is how you will keep him. There are definitely men out there who prefer women without makeup and don’t mind the head-covering. You are much more likely to attract a man who is faithful when you dress modestly and God also blesses obedience. So I wouldn’t let that fear keep you from obeying God. If you look at the majority of relationships where women dress immodestly and doll themselves up, I feel like a lot of the men are cheaters, and get disgusted at their wife’s imperfections. They see the woman they are with a lot more objectively and a lot of them are addicted to porn. A lot of marriages are highly dysfunctional and there are not many faithful people. Men throw away the women that they are with for someone younger and more attractive. If you want a man who is obedient to God and loves God you have to be that yourself. Everything in the world tells us that it’s your beauty that will keep a man but if this is what you are using to attract a man this is the reason he will throw you away.

You dont have to hide every piece of hair under the covering, just covered... such as with a scarf and tied at the back. Also, your hair does not equal sex nor is it obcene! You went from one extreme to the other, girl! Also, Paul does not say vail...

I always appreciate what you have to say, Maddy. But the audio on your videos is so ridiculously low. It detracts from your message and credibility. PLEASE be more sensitive to your viewers. It's no fun to be chained to a laptop or having to wear earbuds in order to watch a video. I know there is a way for you to increase the audio when recording. Let your viewers have the option to increase or decrease it!
@MadddyKayy
@MadddyKayy 4 ай бұрын
KZfaq should give you the option to decrease and increase the volume. I haven't had anyone else complain to me about it, but I'll be intentional about making sure it is louder from here on out. I just posted a poll to see if anyone else is having the same issue.

@@MadddyKayy I exhausted every avenue available. please remember that just because YOU can hear it on your end, doesn't necessary mean the volume is the same on our end. I think many watch you on their phone. I do not have a smartphone, so am limited to my laptop. If i ever bring this t same issue o another youtuber's attention, they usually find a way to tweak audio when recording. I didn't mean to offend you. I really did glean a lot from this particular video that I sorely needed to hear.

No offense taken, I’m just surprised because I haven’t had anyone else comment about the noise level but I just ordered a mic which I probably should’ve done anyways to increase the audio quality and volume because of your comment :)

I can hear it clear and I'm about 60% there is a volume mixer in your PC laptop and you can change that as well. I've had the problem on my PC and you just have to raise it up. Shiuld be in your control panel. This is separate from volume buttons.
