Jesus was humiliated, mocked, spit upon. He had the skin flayed from His back. He was beaten so badly He did not look like a person anymore. And after all of that, He was crucified. A horrible slow death. He was innocent. Sinless. He went through all of that willingly. For you, for me, for all of us. I love you, Jesus, my King. My Savior. Thank you for the sacrifice you made for me.

Before I accepted Christ into my life, I went from being a Pagan to an overly critical atheist who hung on to the words of Hitchens, Dawkins, Gervais, Harris etc. I viewed God in the same manner as many atheists who had never read the bible (it's all stories, God murders, why doesn't he just show us he's real....). The one thing that sticks out from that period of my life is how empty existence felt, how it destroyed my empathy and sympathy, how I didn't care about right or wrong because ultimately I believed that when we were dead there was nothing to answer for. A few years ago I hit rock bottom. I had been married to a narcissist who broke me before casting me aside for someone else. During that time of hardship there was a voice in my heart that kept repeating: This will pass, it will be okay, never forget that. I repeated it daily. Things got better. Despite knowing it was the Lord, I started rejecting him again for appox a year. It dawned on me that I had abused his love. Despite my attitude toward him here he was by my side. I smile as I write that. I was in the shower and asked for forgiveness and for him to remove my guilt. I swear that I cried as though I'd never done it before; and the love that was inside me and around me was incredible. No words can truly explain it. I read my bible all the time now and I will never turn from the Lord Jesus Christ ever again. Bless you all 🙏

I dont want a choice I want to be with Jesus and I want him to force himself in my life because I know he is correct. But temptation is so great i am too weak to resist so my choices are the evil ones so i wish i didnt have a choice so I'll be with God all the time.

The parable of the farmer and the seeds, describes my life. Until almost 2 years ago, when I came back to the lord Jesus, and I'm here to stay this time. Funnily enough, this parable is part of my testimony, which I am giving at church this Sunday. I think the lord Jesus is trying to tell me something.
