Winter sang with Tayeon already! The song is called "Priority" it's a beautiful RNB song! They sang it with Max Changmin

lol Winter didn't really audition she was casted at a dance competition so she was casted for her dance skills then they figured she has potential as a vocalist; she is one of the few idols that SM's music director yoo young jin mentored the others are EXO's D.O, TVXQ Changmin, and I believe BoA too but I'm not too sure. Winter has a collab with Taeyeon and Changmin at last year's smcu winter album called Priority, same with Ningning with Wendy and Boa called Time After Time. This video is way back 2021, they have a lot of live content now esp spicy era.

It's even more incredible that that talent scout never even knew Winter could sing when they gave the SM card. Imagine finding out she can sing and has a beautiful tone that's perfect for OSTs, not to mention it's also versatile and can suit many genres. And yes, you got YYJ's trainees right. He's only had 4

In ningning part in the start ... they were all happy because she faked her voice cracking on purpose so they were little shocked. Then she performed fine then all were happy on nice vocal next time.

happy to see the two of you react the way I did to Winter's vocals. literally fell in love with her when I heard her singing live. Everywhere I look everyone says Ningning's better technically and that she's better because she's aespa's main vocalist but honestly I think it's Winter's position to lose. my best guess is that Winter's vocal placement is very forward which gives her a bit more of that nasally/cute/childish tone which could sound a bit strained when she sings something more powerful, whereas Ningning's vocal placement is further back and has a bit more natural resonance. However when it comes to their breathing and voice control and performing in live settings, Winter is simply unmatched by the other 3
