That was the first pair of Jordans I got. It was the summer of 1990 and I was 19 years old. I got a part-time job just so I could get these. My first paycheck was $147.00. As soon as I cashed it I went straight to the Foot Locker in the mall and snatched these up. I wore em out the store.....happy as hell! After that, I went to Popeyes a got a 3-piece, then I hit the arcade for some video games, and spent my last couple dollars on some gas for the Nissan Sentra. Then...I was broke again. Good times.

I got to try to get me a pair. I had the og in 90, I was 10 yrs old back then and I was in love with the 3m tongue. Def one of my favorite 5’s if not my most favorite.

Got the OG’s back in ‘90, I was 15 years old. I originally had the AJ series 4 on lay-away. The day I went to pick them up, the sales assistant told me they accidentally sold them to someone else. I was absolutely gutted! The manager told me to come back later in the evening. They were receiving a different pair of AJ’s. That’s how I got the OG series 5 in the same colour way. This release is a lot more nostalgic and sentimental to me. Mine’s on its way...can’t wait for them to arrive!!
