He's hyped like Jordan sons were outta high school. If you're a nba player's son, you're gonna be better than everybody at a young age, but when you're in high school, vs. guys who are trying to move their family outta poverty. Different kinda motivation

It's good to hear that he's focusing on defense and playing smart basketball. Watched Bronny play today at Hoophall. Bronny is NICE. He doesn’t force his shots, plays the game at his own pace. He has legit NBA potential. He dropped 13 points but had a lot of shots go in and out, and didn’t force anything up all game. He makes the right play almost every time down the court. This is a tournament where a bunch of players get caught in the hype of all the ESPN cameras and college and NBA scouts and Bronny played calm and collected, he didn’t bitch at any refs and was a good teammate. It was cool to see, seems like a good kid. Definitely has my support

I do feel he could have gained some physical toughness benefits if he were allowed to play football or another contact sport as a young kid, when injuries are less likely and less serious as well as quicker to heal from. Bronny is good. He's a 6'2" wing guard with a solid three-point jumper, solid passing instincts, great vertical athleticism and great defensive instincts. But he's very undersized for an NBA wing or even a shooting guard, has an extremely shaky handle for a guard and below average off the dribble explosion, and these factors make it so there are no easy shots for him on the court. Also a streaky shooter overall. He's a three-star player who's been overblown because of who his dad is. I think people always expected him to be at least three inches taller than he is, and he's not. But good player, overhype isn't his fault.

@@Steps.To.Sucess people always bring this up when it comes to Bronny. Both of those guys are also undersized, but the key, key difference is that they have the ability to beat their defenders off the dribble at will and are elite shooters off the dribble. Bronny is incapable of regularly beating even average high school defenders off the dribble, and it's not just because he plays on great teams. In AAU, he averaged a super inefficient 12 points per game and his team lost most of the time, mostly because of his inability to create his own shot and his streaky jumper. People that can average over 20 ppg in the NBA are usually GOD LIKE when it comes to scoring in high school. So Bronny isn't comparable to these guys. Lacks Donovan Mitchell's crazy half-court speed and McCollum's Kyrie-like handle.

Bronny to me looks like a your typical NBA pg. I have to agree with thad young here. I dont think he is gonna be this elite 30 ppg scorer but he definitely has the potential to be a very solid point guard for a good team. Not every player needs to be a walking bucket. If he makes the right pass, plays defense and limits his turnovers thats all anyone can really want from the kid.

I will forever die on this hill. Bronny will make it to the nba, rather he’s good or not. Simply for money. Meaning, teams know Bron is going where ever bronny is going. If mavs draft bronny, LeBron final game will probably be with the mavs. It will out sale Kobe last game, bringing the mavs hella money. They may release bronny next season, or put him in the g league. But he’s making the nba just for the money

Whenever I hear people doubt Bronny, I remember that for 2 full years, 90% of basketball fans didn't think LaMelo Ball was gonna play D1 college basketball, let alone the nba. Then he came back his senior season, average like 15, 11, and 7, and everyone said he'd never be that good. A year later, he was picked 2rd and already has an all-star appearance. High school just isn't the place to evaluate a kid's true talent level

He won't obviously be as great as his dad but I think Bronny will be as solid as they come in the NBA. He has very great potential in a world where the sons of NBA big names and stars don't normally work out (Jordan's 2 sons, Zaire Wade etc). He's handled the pressure of being the son of arguably the greatest basketball player to ever play really well. Also credits to Bron since he's obviously thought him the mentality of the game too. He needs to work on his streaky shooting and his handles but overall he's a good prospect to look on.
