As a Liverpool fan I'd have loved Nkunku for us. Chelsea swapping out Havertz for Nkunku is a MASSIVE upgrade. Nkunku has world class ability in him.

Tremendously great analysis as always. You'd pretty much find me saying that in every video of yours, but it's totally deserving. Thank you so much for such a well crafted piece of work that I'm sure will be the point of reference for a lot of people. For the nkunku rating, I believe you have been slightly too harsh on him as I think he'd be at 78-80 in terms of ceiling. Him getting under poch grueling training regime will make him into a pressing machine. Also, I agree with you that Hojlund is the missing piece in Chelsea's attack, with nkunku mudryk and madueke, that's a mouthwatering combination for at least 5 years to come. Aside from this, where do you see Chelsea next year sir?

When it started at PSG he wasn't as great as other young player , but since he goes to Leipzig he has by far the most incredible progression of them all (Rabiot / Kimpembe / even Maignan / or Coman) from where he start .

I really like your video analysis brother, it always on the highest quality possible. Plus I'm a Chelsea fans so I'm a bit biased about liking this video specifically, but I have a special requests... Can you one day make an analysis on Thomas Müller? He's one of the most (if not THE MOST) underrated football player in history. Won everything, achieved everything and he's still haven't been talked about enough. WAYYYYY less that it should've been. He even have more G/A contribution than the likes of KDB for comparison. Even when I'm typing this, he's still gone under my radar of how good this guy actually is. But maybe your video can change that perception for good, and make people realized that he is one of the superstar of the current generation.

Great video, as always! I love the player and, while I often feel you are a little stingy with your max potential ratings, not so this time, as Nkunku at 25 is probably close to a finished product. One thing I'm not sure I understand is - what is the difference for you between a generational and a world-class player? Isn't a world-class player by definition one of the best in his generation? Keep up the good work!

Thank you, very interesting. It is still unclear to me how Chelsea are going to get the best out of him - there seems a danger he will be another in a line of really good Chelsea forwards who aren't really strikers (Havertz, Felix, Sterling, Werner) or aren't suited to playing on their own up top (Lukaku, Aubameyang) . Poch will need to earn his corn to get a tune out of them.

Best case scenario for Chelsea is broja developing as a cynical no9 under poch with nico Jackson rotating with him. Worst case is we have another repeat of Kai havertz situation as hojlund is reported at like 70m+ and Chelsea don’t have any good CAMs in their team

Came back to this video after the pre season and I don’t think this we’d be getting the best out of this guy as a 10 tbh he dosent seem like the guy that wants to take charge,make line breaking passes and dictate the game.I remember pech even telling him in a match that he’s too eager,he’s playing as an SS instead of dropping off a little bit to link up play

76 max potential seems harsh to me considering he’s already one of the best players in the world. However, he was a bit of a late bloomer so I guess we won’t know until we see him at chelsea

Could you make a video or insta post about the ratings of some retired or almost retired players ? Your vidoes are great but the terms world class, generational and so on are used so different by many people. So it would be nice to better understand how good you predict those players to get.

My Assumption would be that players like Pedro or Rakitic are in 65-70, Gundogan or bernardo Silva are in 70-75, Kroos or Casemiro in 75-80, Modric or Lewandowski in 80 - 85 and Xavi or Maldini in 85-90. Messi and Ronaldo would be 90+ i guess.

Out of curiosity, why was this breakdown only limited to Nkunku '22-'23 season ( as referenced with the pie chart data)? Nkunku has played under several different managers during his time at RB Leipzig, and with that, asked to perform a number of different roles. With this exposure and development as such, he was played as an attacking midfielder in his first season, wouldn't those various skillsets offer a little more to Poch and also be worthy of more analysis? Do you feel that his role/development is only suited to what he displayed in his final season?

From what I’ve seen, as much as he has played different positions the only roles he can play to a very high level is central forward roles. Hence the other roles I don’t deem worthy of futher analysis statistically as they are covered via eye test and tactical board.

For Nkunku to succeed in prem, he needs to work on his physicality which also was an issue for Werner. I feel he can play on the wings but Chelsea will dominate more games with him playing through the centre.

i disagee he has natural talent , physicality is not the issue if you watch how he uses his body positioning similar to Messi...also werner played as a inverted winger where as Nkunku plays mainly through the middle
