How Good Is Franz Wagner Really?

Жыл бұрынDespite the Orlando Magic finishing towards the bottom of the Eastern Conference, the development of many of their young star players, including Franz Wagner, has not slowed or stalled. Last season, Franz was one of the most promising rookies to come out of last year's drafts. Despite a lot of talks around the draft about players not improving, you can't say that about Franz because he has legitimately improved from the player he was last year to the player he is now.

When i look at comments from before the draft '21, i am shocked, that some fans wanted guys like Bouknight, Kuminga, Suggs or Moody over Wagner for their teams, that is just crazy and unbelievable. Everybody saw already in college that Franz can do almost everything even with his height. His high basketball IQ, which is super important, was obvious too.

Still, hindsight is 2020. There is a reason those guys were talked about. Was it obvious to you that Suggs would be where he's at as well? Because he was popping before the draft.

Honestly I don’t think he can become a top 15 player but that’s just my opinion. I feel like there are far too many good players who would proceed him on the list. But I do think he’s a great player and can be potentially greater but I don’t think I would compare him to ALL STARS and the likes…just my opinion.
