I feel like gear flat could be controlled on something like cobalt 5-60 because of the heavy weight to slow it down a bit. But Pheonix is definitely gonna be a popular tournament part that’s for sure.

Is Gear Flat similar to Jaggy in burst or is it even wider, thus aggressive, than that?

I think this video is a good display on why having such high speed but not as heavy beyblades for atk is not always good thing. Since the idea of atk types, from how I understand, is to deal enough force from an attack by moving it's mass at speed, you would think that loss of potential weight can be compensated for higher speed. However, higher speed and lower weight also makes it more difficult to control as shown by Sharkedge potentially self-KO-ing itself. As for using Needle on PhoenixWing, I wonder what makes High Needle just so much better to be used for general defense combinations? Is it the height (which leaves me a bit confused since I would assume that makes it worse in terms of resisting bursts) or is it because of how shallow the angle of the tip is? Or maybe the very slight amount of extra weight due to the increased height and decreased tip angle?

Question you wouldn’t do 9-60 for stamina? Because the resistance is tight and ball is strong too

Here what I concluded, correct me if I’m wrong. Phoenix has decent stamina not bc of the blade but bc of the rachet and outstanding attack the only thing it lacks is defense. Drake against it is probably 40/60 Drake still being on top. 9-60 gives the burst resistance and its stamina. GF probably has the highest attack point bit (based on its strength and speed) in my opinion but you have no control in where phoenix is going to go next (same with other blades) which lowers the GF overall stats
