As a Athletico Paranaense fan, we really put him in a position to be the classic ''centro avante'' but if you see him playing at a bit younger age in Cruzeiro you will see a Roque much more ''lighter'' and with more dribbling capacities. I don't like to say it but I really think that he can be a lot more versatile but we didn't explore that for him playing here, I really think that he has a lot more in his sleeve.

It might sound time consuming but it would be interesting if you covered players that are performing below their predicted standards. Showcasing their weaknesses and comparing their stats and playstyles to other elite players in their position. Someone like jackson or antony, for example. Why isn't it working out for them. when i see him, i saw suarez. at first we can see talent, but not that gifted, but that hunger, that determination will turn a player. with great coaching, no early heavy injuries hes might be as great as suarez.

Thanks for this analysis of Roque. He is very raw and isn't the traditional Barca forward, however currently we don't have a complete and traditional Barca side. We need a different profile. I think we need his work rate, directness, explosiveness, and fox-in-a-box poaching. Maybe with time, he rounds out his game to improve his link-up play, his long passing, and refine his dribbling.

Need one for Warren Zaïre-Emery. Already essential to that psg side at 17yrs of age and was already playing most games at 16yrs. Youngest player to have played for France in the modern era, got a goal on his debut. Incredibly mature for his age. Has been brilliant in the ucl too.

Great analysis! Up to the mark and pointed key parts of his game and I believe he will surely be a world class in his position. What differentiate him and Endrick is endrick is more like a deep lying forward...makes more dribbles and passes and of course great long ball accuracy and better long shots

You said that Roque barely uses long passes, because he has few long passes per 90. However, his average pass length is pretty much in line with the top 4 in the category. This suggests that it’s how few passes he makes overall per 90 (10 p/90) that is lowering his long p/90 stat. Players like Mbappe, Jesus, and Lewandowski are making 25-36 passes per 90 on average. If Roque kept the same rate of long passes but had 25-36 p/90, he would be making .7-1.05 long passes/90. That’s in line with the rest of the players shown in the list. The real number of note is how poor the completion is

I can answer you without a video, cus Real Madrid has an injury crisis of 10 players out at one time. Paz wouldnt get gametime if Camavinga and Tchouameni or even Ceballos were fit. Dont get me wrong tho, Paz has a good level and has high potential to be a good first division player.

Imo hes not technical enough especially for that typical barca style of play. He can still improve tho hes only 18 and if he gets a lot of goals no one will complain. Just like haaland at city. Not doing much link up play but hes a killer in the box
