I need to decide between the wilson evolution or the official wilson nba game ball

@@Luis-09123 Depends. I’d pick the Wilson official game ball. Or the Spalding TF No. M which is about $50 cheaper than the Wilson leather ball. It’s just a better basketball all around. Both are. If you have the patience to break it in, you will not regret it. Honestly, it doesn’t need to be broken in all the way before you start to see why the pros swear by leather. Every person and their mother has the Evolution. It will be at nearly every run anyway. So you won’t be missing out by buying the real thing. Even if you don’t want to buy leather there are so many better options than the Evolution. The Nike Elite Championship, the Dime Basketball, the NCAA Evo-NXT (I stress, the NCAA version) and the Baden Elite or Elite Pro. Even the Molten GGX7 is better than the Evolution performance wise. Most people (casual players) get caught up in how a basketball feels in hand and believe that determines if a ball is good or not. But how it plays in game is far more important than how it feels in hand during shoot around. But I’ll warn you, if you do buy the genuine leather and take the time to break it in, it will RUIN the Evolution for you. You’ll never want to play with it again.
