Hoku Nihipali I agree. It’s the brow. Otherwise she’s not bad at all. Doesn’t look too far removed from the Jim Lee art in my opinion.

It's a shame because everything but the face sculpt is beautiful. The eyes and brow ridge really takes away a lot from this statue. I would have purchased this one. I want a good Psylocke. I have always liked this character, a lot.

Not really a statue collector as I go for the 1:12 scale ( mezco..legends etc ) but having stumbled on your channel I find this figure amazing..!! I love your in depth information as well regarding the character..keep it up..and for that sir you've gained my interest and earned a sub..excellent work and Im looking forward to more reviews..!!

I do like the body but that face...still a hell no! Even if almost sold out I rather wait for Gambit. Really wanted a Psylocke statue but still a pass. Agree her base doesn’t go with the other pieces. If they had the license I would like to see what Prime 1 Studios version of her would like. Great review Jorge as always.

Thanks for another great review. I got this Wednesday and I really love it, sorry to disagree with most comments here. Yeah the original sculpt was better, but this one is beautiful too for me, especially on display. They even put some extra gloss on her eyes that shines as you move around and look a them. I love the base too, I'm so tired of Sentinel bases, and this one pretty much has the shape of the "butterfly psyche" that she gets around the face in the comics. Glad I got it, to each its own I guess. Thanks George.

Sorry but that base is weak and again that face is a epic fail..Why is selling out? Low ES and Collectors need one for their collection also its better then nothing or is it?..Will wait for a better one, hope you can save it. Man, if it had a better base and head sculpt they would have sold a ton of these.Really don't get sideshow sometimes?

Jorge, I was really expecting you to give this one a thumbs down especially since you own that amazing custom Psylocke. You really surprised me brother. I’m so glad you like your new acquisition. I’m really considering her myself as I’d love to build a XForce set. I have Wolverine and got X23 today. Psylocke would go amazingly with those two.

Overall I think the piece is ok. Its not jaw dropping like the custom I have. But the custom also consumes so much more space than it really needs to. I believe that all this one needs is a redesign of the portrait, which I am looking into. If I can pull that off, I think I can improve this piece 100 percent in my opinion. I was fully expecting to pack her back up, but I really feel the rest of her is worth keeping if I can make this portrait right.

seems like a lot of collectors just don't like this face sculpt. curious to see how well they sell. I see so many people complain like this but Sideshow pieces still seem to sell out. great review!!

Hey George. Great honest review like always. I myself was on the fence with this piece after seeing all the photos on the statue forums. Even after watching your review numerous times, I’m still not sold on dropping $600 and change for this piece. While the head sculpt is not the greatest, the base she’s on looks boring as hell. In all honesty, I think I’ll take my chances with XM and wait to see what they come up with.

That's what I love about you Jorge. You give your honest feedback. I feel too many people get a piece and don't want to admit it's flaws. I understand they don't want to feel they wasted their money so they'll sugar coat it versus admitting what's wrong. I loved this review. Is it a piece you'll hold on to?

Thanx for the review, finally someone made one :-) Overall its not as bad as it looks on some of collectors photos. But Betsy deserves more. Its sold out cause ppl need to fill the xmen roster. If it was for another statue, lotta folks would insta skip it, i guess. But hey, if you like it, then its cool and I am glad for everyone.-)

She doesn't look bad, I would keep her over the Custom just cause of the way the Psylock was sculpted on the custom, heres an idea, see if the SS version will key into the sentinel base

Big fan of Psylocke but not of that statue.They produce such a nice x-men line,but this one missed the boat.Especially the portrait.Hoping on Xm now for a killer Psylocke statue.

That would be nice if XM could make one. I know of two other Customs that look like they will top both of the Psylocke statues I have. But they are considerably more expensive. Gonna see if I can fix the portrait. Its really the only thing that doesn't work that much for me.

The portrait isn't as bad as some of the pics have made it look. But I wonder if any of the heads from the custom Psylocke behind you could be engineered to fit onto the PF. Or if they'd even scale well.

Congrats for the new piece my friend! For me, while the portrait is not preety, perfect beauty hardly exists in the world. Many women have near-perfect bodies but not pretty faces or faces with some not-pretty features. I'd like to think of her as a "political-correct" or "natural" Psyloque, if you get what I mean... Despite that point however, I do agree that for a statue of its price range, perfect beauty should exist...

yeah that face is bad it actually looks worse then the pictures but good body sculpt . They did the same thing with wonder woman's face too and now I'm worried about Cheetara's face now. Whoever is doing their production unit suck at faces

Hey Jorge. I think the statue gods looked out for us lol. The portrait is not bad at all and definitely not as bad as the pics. Im very happy with her and the base. I put some LED lights behind it and the base lights up nice. I also think her base will go nice with Jean Grey when she comes in. Awesome review brother and as always thanks

Bro, I Po this peace the first day, and I love it, everybody hate it but now the EX is on the waitlist and the regular almost sold out. I saw the same story before with she hulk, and now everybody wants it but it is really expensive.

Oh, Olivia Munn my beloved, somehow Psylocke one of these characters that didn't get bad statues - because her design wasn't re-iterated shitload of times by different hacks, there not so many characters that survived woke plague, rip Power Girl.

Not picking this one up. But she doesn't look bad at all.. all the crying and complaining from other collectors she came out cool. This reminds of... the new recent Rogue all the crazy comments and she came out great.
