Exacdrill is my favorite Pokemon,After watching to Poketips videos,I found out one mistake,That was that I forgot it's hone close and drill run or horn drill whatever but now I gave it Sword Dance Shadow Slash Horn Drill or Drill run whatever But I would say it was the MVP of Pokemon extreme red

@@ErnestoRamirez-bd7ci Nah, it can work. Excadrill is facing down something that outspeeds and threatens it, which is the "call an ambulance" part. Then Tyranitar switches in and Excadrill suddenly outspeeds and KOs the former threat, which is the "*pull out gun* but not for me" part.

Gen 5 sprites look awful with the way they move. Rather than the movement animation playing in a loop, it looks like it plays forwards then backwards, which looks completely clunky and unnatural

@@shadowtitanx3962 That shows how important is to have two STABs. PS: I just noticed that the BW speedruns now uses Stoutland. I guess that's the importance of a good speed and being actually able to abuse your more powerful attack stat.

I find it funny how the final Excadrill set used in B2W2 speedruns is basically just a standard OU set (Adamant SD Quake Iron Head Rock Slide). The only big difference is that it has Sand Force as its ability, because it lets it you 2HKO a specific Magnemite with Mud Slap. I'm pretty sure using a stronger Ground move would trigger Sturdy and cause the trainer use a potion. Either that or Drilbur doesn't have good Ground STAB at that point. It's been a while since I saw the run.

Xatu's ability magic bounce makes it have a pretty good niche due to it been part flying to avoid spikes and having defog even if they manage to set up toxic spikes

I never understood why they had weather abilities as permernant. It was alright when only two pokemon had drought and drizzle but giving it to others without a nerf was a mistake. Making so many buffs to sand was also crazy

It was because Sand and hail had no offensive exploits prior to gen 5 and Rain/Sun we’re only available on two mons who were restricted. Politoed, Ninetales, Sand Rush/Sand Force were all that was needed to break weather.

@@yourdailysadisticfolkfromi6619 Exactly, Game Freak have no idea how to buff Ice types (even tho several fan-games have proven how easy it is) meanwhile they just keep introducing more broken stuff per Gen instead of fixing the core gameplay: *Dynamax; banned to ubers (as a concept it's even more broken than Megas since essentially Megas + Z-moves combined). *Dracovish; A more broken Kingdra that can sand sweep AND has a stab 170 power move (banned). *Galarian Darma; Has a built-in choice band and it stacks with an actual choice band or scarf? (banned). *Cinderace; Essentially protean Greninja with just as much utility but as a physical sweep (likely on its way to being banned). Funny how Aegislash and Mimikyu got nerfed yet they still OU stables while more broken mons were introduced lol.

Words can't describe how much I adore Excadrill. Gen V introduced some of my favorite Pokemon ever. Sand Rush sweeps were so much fun while Mold Breaker sets obliterated any Rotom-W, Bronzong or Latis thinking they're getting a free switch in. Excadrill is even better in SwSh because of the rapid spin buff. I hope Excadrill continues to be a staple in every gen.

I've actually been using Dynamax Excadrill in Raids and the Battle Tower and CHRIST it hits like a truck. You were not kidding, Excadrill is brutal.
