I would say Ozil was one of the Greatest Creators of all time Playmaking is a different task. That's the task of a player who prefers to control the tempo of the game while being extremely positionally disciplined. Eg: Xavi, Pirlo, Kroos, Busquets(post 2016)

Ozil and guti is my favorite playmaker . although I haven't seen guti playing live but with ozil I grew up watching him since 11/12 season . when he had ball on his foot , the space he see and pass he make is madness . How could you leave out the German national team leaving him out to dry for taking a photo with erdogan. The German locker room after 2 players took that photo was toxic. I believe that’s a big part of their lack of performance that year.. and a big catalyst for his falling out of favor in the national discussion.
