How great is this £550 Lens? - Canon RF 85mm F2 Thoughts

I hired this Canon RF 85mm F2 lens from ‪@hireacamerauk‬
Modestly priced at under £600, does it do as good a job as I'd hoped?

I have watched at least 30 videos about this lens but yours its just the best. Right to the point with good sample pictures. I do all kinds of photography and recently bought an R6 but still can't decide which lense to buy. The 85 looks like a great option but still not sure if I can use it for more than portraits.

Glad it was helpful, and thank you for the kind words. I have used the 24-105 f4. - 7.1 for most of the time I have had the R6. I do have a few good EF lenses too, but the 24-105 is a good allrounder, and if you can stretch to the F4 L lens then even better. Whatever you choose, I know you won't be disappointed with the R6, thanks for watching!!

Nice video! i'm saving up now to buy this lens, for my R10. can't wait, using the RF 50(80)mm 1.8 right now for portraits.

Good choice! And with the R10, you will get about a 135mm, so it should give you great images. Thanks for watching

I loved it when I hired it. Haven't seen the need to purchase it yet, but as I start doing more portraits/headshots, perhaps I will. Thanks for watching

I liked it. Haven't bought it yet as I am not sure I would really use it too much in the real world, but should I win £550 on the lottery, you never know!! Thanks for watching
