Күн бұрынA trail, built by a KZfaqr?!? Man have I been excited to ride this one for a while! Eric (@BCpov), Bobby and Chris have created a masterpiece here; it's arguably the new crown jewel of the valley MTB scene. Turns out it's also a pretty challenging masterpiece, so I'm glad to be scoping things out with the one and only @ddangerousddave. This is a special one, enjoy! :)

Watching this video makes me realize two questions: 1) Why are mountain bikers obsessed with really narrow skinny ramps? 2) Why are mountain bikers obsessed with barely squeezing between trees? Just seems like a deathwish.

Glad Dave didn't die on Bobs Bobsled :) I think the trick is to ride off it straight. Don't keep turning unless you've got your whips down (i don't). You guys figured that out on your own though 😀 Fun video!

Some of those features look like they’d be at home in a lift accessed bike park! How long do we have to wait to see Dave ride that handrail on the bridge? Pretty sure that’s what he was eying up.

Those are some classic lines! Never knew this was in Abbotsford. Looks steep and technical in some parts! The trail work is amazing here, id love to ride here and support he bulders.

actually getting of the bike, and showing someone else next to the jump, shark fins etc really sold this video man, I've not done mountain biking, though been down hills and jumps on an old bike when I was a kid, but I would LOVE to do this (obviously on a beginner level course not this one haha)

@@DaleStone Yep, I'd like to try to hit it all in one go. I found the Yu'kan do it drop and the stump gap a bit much for me on the day, but I enjoyed bobsled and huck finn. I didn't do a top to bottom though just to feel it all come together. Having a tow-in would help, but Eric was injured when I went out and wasn't any help at all :) Some of those features have no frame of reference - they feel really unique.

This trail looks awesome. Wish I could drop everything and move to BC. I'm a mech eng student and by spending some time lurking on linkedin (on bike manufacturer's pages) I kind of found out you're a design engineer. Would you ever consider talking about how you got into the industry in a video? Personally as someone who comes from a similar background and loves MTB the idea of working in the industry seems like a dream come true. Thanks again for always uploading sick content like this

It's something I've always considered, but has to be very carefully executed on. tl;dr: the industry is smaller than you think, so don't be picky with a specific company in mind. 🙂
