I honestly love this centre's retro (original) scoring monitors! That "turkey" pixel art is just insane.

Wow!! Those are the first electronic scoring machines we had when we first stopping using the overhead projectors in the mid 80s

Don't beat yourself up. Giving away an antry in a regional is going to bring out a lot of the really hot bowlers. We even have PBA regional bowlers entering no-tap tournaments around here and beating up on the bowlers just trying to have fun. You never really know what yiu are walking in to. It is still more experience which is always a good thing!

It’s funny, I started bowling in 1983 when I was 12. And the only houses that had electronic scoring at all were those that had those AMF scorers. I can’t believe there are houses where they still work. They are O L D…like me. :)

the centre i grew up in had them until about 4 years ago! something nostalgic about them that i love haha

@@TheSarahKlassenChannel Hey as long as they keep track of the score, that’s all that matters. Plus the little turkey dude that used to come up was funny. I didn’t think you threw the ball badly. I know none of you guys scored like you wanted, but it was clear that was a tough pattern out there. It’ll be better next time. Enjoy your videos. Keep grinding!

They had MagicScore at MSG in 1979 which was awesome. We also had plastic bowling balls, no sideweight, one ball for spares and strikes, and termites on the lane. You had to sell your soul to Satan to get 200: I got high series in juniors with a 641 and third-high game with a 228.

When you say 26 degrees, specify Fahrenheit or Celsius. I know you are canadian so you default to C, but thats a big difference! I always look forward to Sarah Klassen content. I could watch you every day, all day.

Her videos are very entertaining and even heartwarming at times....but with uploading just 3 videos in 2 months the youtube algorithm just pushes her down the recommend list with less people seeing her channel and I also believe it's causing the sub count to flatline to some extent...its really hard to sub when you dont know if the next video is next week or next month but that just me

so - just found your channel - i would love to enter something like this... but always wondered what kind of average it takes to be competitive in a tournament like this? granted to everyone has good and bad days, but what kind of average would you suggest before trying something like this?
@raygordonteacheschess55012 ай бұрын
I averaged 190 in a scratch singles league in 1991 and wouldn't have made a dent on the tour. I quit (age 24).

🤔That's really, on time!! Because you want to be mentally ready, and, any sudden changes with equipment, and read the lanes!! In my leagues, I like to be at least 1 hr. early for those reasons!!

Yeah I had a chance to take them out as soon as they showed up on xray. Waiting was a huge mistake. Nausea and dizzy spells. Healing was a pain. Got an infection and had to keep going back to get them repacked with a gauze strip dipped in an antiseptic. But once healed the dizzyness went away.

Wisdom teeth are a whole other level of pain. All 4 of mine were impacted, I woke up from the gas unexpectedly with dentists knee in my chest and pliers in his hand lol. probably should NOT have told u that part, but I couldn't feel a thing, so don't sweat that. You want funny content have a friend video you for the first 2 hours after they pick u up from dentists office, it'll be comedy gold.😂 Older u get the worse it is, like chicken pox which I was 17 when got those and 24 for wisdom teeth 😮
