It's funny how when I bought the game and used the weab-ackdash I got a trophy for backdashing a lot. It's interesting that these aren't probably aren't bugs, I'm sure they know they're in the game

@@grantgarbour IGA in particular knows about backdash canceling, he's mentioned it in an interview. This game is so refreshing, it just gives you a bunch of stuff and then lets you go nuts. I'm currently at a point where I finally found the path forward after finding the bad ending, it's WILD how much freedom this game gives you.

I actually got that to work with only the double jump by sticking to the top of the screen at the very end of the kick chains. Don't think I'll ever have use for getting it that early, but the cancel jump is nice to know.

For anyone else trying this, a much easier way of getting it is to just do 1-2-3 twice, then for the third rep do a 1 and then cancel into backdash, then cancel that into the double jump. It seems to be quite difficult to cancel out of the deux or trois during the 2nd (or more) air rekka rep. For example, you can't seem to cancel into the backdash if it's a deux normally.

I dunno if it would have worked for this jump, but you can jump after teleporting, but you can only do it as soon as you reappear. You lose the window to doublejump after the animation for reappearing is over for some reason.

Fun fact. I learned the backdash cancel jump by myself on day one trying to make a real dumb jump for that house after I broke the roof but missed the chest. Haha
