Another solid episode. Lawn wouldn’t look as good as it does without your vids. Thanks again

Its reassuring to see you got another Protea, and it looks mint! I got a 20" Protea after you made the review vids at your old house with one. 3 years later, and still loving Protea, awesome machine! Cheers mate 👍

Have you considered adding another cut inbetween green and surround like a fringe? I think it would look awesome, and you probably have a spare mower to set up for it like a simple 1 or 2 width walk mower cut.

Looking really good Ben. I’m interested to know how the drains are going under the green. Do they have water come out of them when you water? How much water comes out of them during a heavy rain? Do you think they will keep working or block after time?

with granular does the prouduct have to completely disintegrate before it gets the full effect or does it wash off when you apply water?

I would be very interested in your opinion on the Allett Liberty 43 and Stirling. Think you could get one sent out?

would you ever consider adding another couple of pins to the green....I edit... what do you think about NZ Browntop (Agrostis capillaris).....Used in Auckland on rate payer boulevard lawns as a winter filler grass for Kikuyu, I have also found it to be extremely beneficial when keeping your Kikuyu lawns around the 11 - 16mm height. While non existent in the summer, it becomes a star in the winter when the Kikuyu isn't. It runs as opposed to stands so doesn't look out of place or 'long' with Kikuyu. I have found it is also really good when the winter sun is low in the sky and shade is a problem for the Kikuyu. Along with Kikuyu it needs regular dethatching...so a perfect companion.....Although not noted anywhere in literature, I have witnessed it to be excellent in residential lawns where winter sun is a problem with shade......I have also found it mixes well if you have a residential lawn with part shade as it will tend to still grow well in the shade when other grasses don't and the colour mixes well rye and other darker grasses. I prefer to use over fine fescues, as it's is a running grass and it isn't as susceptible to red thread and other fungal problems like fine fescues.

Hey mate i seeded my bent green 9 days ago & it’s started to pop up. Do I put down any liquid fert at some stage? Something with nitrogen or anything? I used your granular fert when I seeded.

How many steps do you do when you spend a day on the green? I’d imagine by the time u mow/fertilise it would be around 15-20k?

Pure means it's not mixed with anything else right. So why would it ever be impure? Even if it's looking sad and unhealthy, it's still pure unless it's mixed with something else.
