Pravesh Pandey is one of the most renowned faces in India's Hotel and Restaurant Industry. He started his career with ITC Hotels back in 2002, where he was a Guest Service Coordinator.
He spent the next decade of his professional career in senior positions at key companies like P&O Cruises, Lizard Lounge, Henry Tham Lifestyle Restaurant, and Hard Rock Cafe.
In 2020, Pravesh started Bissi Bissi Oota, which is India's first QSR brand serving home-style meals that are 'Shuddha', 'Aarogya', and 'Taaza'. They ensure the provision of fresh, nutritious, and hygienic food at the most affordable prices. In fact, a meal is provided at a price of INR 30.
Pravesh is also one of the shareholders and directors at Byg Brewski Brewing Company , which at the time of its opening was India's largest Microbrewery.
Pravesh early in his career also helped in the rapid expansion of 'Social'.

When I visited BB@Sarjapur Road for lunch with my 10 year old daughter, I was little apprehensive. But was pleasantly surprised to see there are stalls to entertain and engage even kids. I knew immediately that even my wife, who otherwise was not in favor of visiting a brewery with our daughter, had accepted the place for a family visit once again. Interestingly, I didn’t go for beer that day, just had starter, and pizza. For me it was important that BB earns the trust and I get a repeat visit. Thanks to the management team to make it a place that can attract and appeal everyone from every category.

Amazing story Satyajit, having been to the Sarjapur location too, I would feel totally comfortable bringing my son there. Byg Brewski has done a great job of making their restaurants family friendly. Same with Roxie too. -Caleb

Goes to show how much the 'Character' of a restaurant plays a part in it's success. (Means nothing if food, drinks and service is not at par. But when ceteris paribus). I always thought the Byg-Brewski logo and Roxie logo had some design elements in common. Now we know why.

It means all things equal, you're effectively is everything else is constant then the impact of x is y, example if everything else is equal, demand is inversely proportional to supply

Wow ! 55 mins well spent on byg screen! Huge thanks to BWM team to bring hospitality industry entrepreneurs and showing us the struggles and challenges ! I would really really appreciate if you can get hold of anyone from Windmills crafts work pub and Ooru restaurant and explains us how are they building there brand. One thing all these entrepreneurs or founders in this space do is they don't share or publicize is the architect who designed this amazingly well crafted place. If you go to BYG Brewski Hennur, the architecture and interiors was the first of it's kind in India. Leave the branding, food and beverages, I feel the architecture is one of the main USP's of this place which enhances the whole experience and a large factor why people come there in the first place. But nowhere in this podcast he has mentioned about the architects. Give credit where credit is due.
