For me, only in a few countries and towns I like this helmet, better than nothing, but I use one with DOT certified helmet, I see many people wearing a hat and sunglasses...

some helmets are expensive but not 100% safe since it was made through an automated machine and may have defects or flaws that were overlooked during the process... sometimes, these helmets we saw in the vid are more reliable than those processed helmets made by machines... I am not saying all are defectives made from that machine, but "sometimes" man-made things are better and durable... like man-made shoes, etc. at the end of the day, it still depends on us if we drive carefully and vigilantly.

Even the US DOT testing specification allows passing even if the impact to the rider would be fatal under their test method... Normal engineers would say "oh that's not good having like 270 G's to the head" but the US government is like, nah it's fine that motorcycles are 33.7x more fatal per mile in the US... Why would we ever suggest people use even SNELL standards?

Styrofoam is better than nothing plus this could be had for $17 (1400 Rs) per helmet…The average driving speed on streets in most Asians countries is about 15-25mph and mostly on moped scooters. Serious speed bikers buy better helmets anyway

DOT rating will pass even with helmets imparting a lethal force to the riders head (it's like 270 G's or something) during the DOT specified test. Also DOT is just a guideline, the department of transportation does not have a helmet testing division nor do they test any helmets. It's self certify only by manufacturer (with nobody really even double checking them or independent testing, but then again even if it's lethal it still passes) Don't buy DOT helmets, make sure to look for higher certified testing. This I understand is difficult, as only ONE, I repeat only ONE specific model of helmet at a motorcycle shop was approved any higher than just DOT and they had like a hundred helmets to choose from... People just don't care about safety it seems, or more worrying is they do but they are uninformed and trust the government to protect them (ha, yeah like that's going to happen, they will protect lobbyists before you)
