You really don’t need any of that not even starting off in somewhere like Thailand.I am also moving to Thailand in less than 2 weeks from now I am excited.Ill be in far south Thailand though it’s a Muslim predominant area it’s one of the most underrated parts of Thailand and in my opinion its the most affordable.I found a room that is only $150 a month.And the second following month I will get a condo which I already found one and it’s only $200 a month😅.But I will also visit other areas in Thailand as well.Thanks for this video I think you have made a wonderful option,Thailand is a magnificent beautiful country.

Vera เก่งมากใช้เงินวันละ 200-500 บาทแถมขึ้นรถเมล์แบบร้อนเป็นแล้วด้วย จ่ายค่ารถเมล์ 8 บาท แทนที่จะขึ้น BTS ปรับตัวเก่งมากๆที่พักก็ 5K เอง ในกรุงเทพถ้าใช้จ่ายได้ไม่เกิน 30K ถือว่าอยู่สบายแล้ว จากที่ฟังมา เหตุผลการใช้จ่ายคือดีมากๆ ไม่เที่ยวกลางคืนอีก กินFoodCourt ด้วย เหลือแค่หารายได้เดือนละ 30-40K ก็อยู่ในกรุงเทพได้ง่ายขึ้นอีก

Thank you for this video! I am currently trying to realize my dream of moving to Thailand from the US. I'm on a savings journey of 20k usd. Seeing how you've made it work with much less is inspiring and makes me less stressed of thinking i need so much! Thank you for breaking down your expenses. I plan on trying to get a education visa for thai language school as well! though I have heard Thailand is rolling out a Digital Nomad visa soon. Maybe future video ideas could be the process on how you applied and received your education visa as well as how you found the thai language school you go to and what that school experience is like. also as well as maybe a Day in the life vlog of a normal day from wake up to bed time. It's very rare for foreigner travel by bus in Thailand. I watched more than 50 Twitcher/KZfaqr (Thai and Foreigner) 100% of them travel by either BTS , Taxi , Train , Airplane but not bus. I never saw one.

it's not to say that i never take bts/mrt or taxis, in the morning i'm taking bts of course because i don't want to be late for school 😅 going back i often take a bus though!! but actually what you're saying may be true because to be honest i never really see any foreigners on a bus, usually i'm the only one 😅

as a thai, you surprised me when you talked thai. you spoke good thai enough for most thai to understand you. i hope you can find your way to live in thailand as you wish. according to how you spent your money, you are such a smart girl. you seem to on the right track by ignoring night life. i know for western people, night life in bangkok is hard to resist. but for a girl like you it's dangerous. if you want to live in bangkok safely, like in other big city, you should try to avoid going to any place where no one is around especially during night time. you could be attacked and hurted easily in such place.

The secret to making a KZfaq channel for Thai people to watch is that you have to insert Thai sentences. You don't have to wait until you're good at speaking, but you have to put Thai sentences in video clip every time. Thai people like to hear foreigners speak Thai.❤

Thai is one of the hardest languages to learn if you're not a native to it (even Thai people have a hard time learning it once as well). It's also a tonal language, so if you find yourself struggling to speak Thai, then it's totally fine. Thai people will understand, and hey, you know what. That's very cute when we find someone from another country trying to speak our language, so please do it whenever you want to, and then, like you said, "it always works out somehow," and I'm sure you'll even spot some smile on your interlocutors's faces 😊

Of course you can use your name as a pronoun as well if you are close with them such as FC or your friends it makes you adorable. You speak thai quite clear and good pronouncing. Do not worry about thai subtitles just speak a little bit slowly so thai people can catch up while reading English subtitles. Cheers up

It's good to hear that you are not a fan of night life and alcohol 👍 It's true that our people are mostly kind and friendly, but there are also a lot of bad people too. so, I suggest you stay vigilance and do not trust people so easily. As for the food...there are places other than 7/11 depend on where you live, such as the market (you can find a lot cheaper ingredients hear), department store (e.g. Foodland, Tops supermarket, Max value, big C, Makro, etc...) some are cheap some expensive, I'm sure you will find your way pretty soon.

Maybe show the vlog about how you live your life in Bangkok as a local because you are different from other KZfaqrs that moved to live in Bangkok with more luxury life. So, I think your simple life is very interesting such as using a local bus, eating local food etc.

I am setting up in Bangkok myself if you fancy catching up for a social. I tried Hua Hin recently but found it full of old retired people and pretty boring. I'd be keen to go and explore a few of the Night markets if you are keen.
