Hey Alvin, I am following you when I started preparing for my PMP. I got my certification couple of weeks before even though I have 13+ years of experience I couldn't land it to PM job (of course it's been few weeks that i got PMP certified) and I am going to follow your steps

I'm always open to sharing my own experiences so you can advance your career further and faster, without making the same mistakes as me. I recommend browsing through Udemy when they have their sale for P6 or MSP Courses. I'll take a look and add this to my idea list for a future video on recommended courses for P6 and MS Project.

I'm a software engineer and passed my pmp but I found that project manager salaries are less than software engineering salaries so my pmp is worthless. I don't even show it on my resume

@Zet, I'm so glad that you found the video helpful, and it's great news to hear you passed your PMP Exam! Here's a brief snapshot of what I recommend: 1) Make a list of the top companies that you want to work for, that have positions focused on Financial Portfolio Management. 2) Start reaching out to your internal network/connections and see if you know anyone who works at these companies, or who can connect you to someone who already works inside the company, 3) Update your resume to match the positions you're applying for; 4) Start applying using your internal network recommendations as references, and directly onto the company websites and job portals (indeed, glassdoor, etc). I'll be releasing a video soon about how to prepare for the interview, so stay tuned!
