I have to say, with decades of horse owning, Shires were a ‘go to’ for affordable products that were good quality. A boon for the amateur horse owner trying to do the best for their beloved horse while stretching the family budget. Your cat is adorable. Big girl lipstick is so much cooler than what I say😬 Again, a great vlog. Well done you. You are a star!

Thanks for persevering with getting the eighth vlogmas out, it was interesting & very relatable. I personally don't get annoyed at the UK only giveaways- giveaways are not why I watch your vlogs :) Frodo looks very cuddleable & oh so cute.... I'm sensing you might be a bit of a LOTR fan what with having a Frodo & Hobbit at home :p Looking forward to #9 so I hope your technical troubles are short lived!

Absolutely loved your demonstration of ways to zip your collar. Especially the first. LOL. In the early '70's my friend named her Golden Retriever Galadrial. And back then we had to read 4 very long books.

It makes me laugh every time when you call your mum hobbit, as that's what I call my husband! And now your cat is called Frodo, that's what my husband used to call me! (He's moved on to calling me Gollum now... hmmm charming, I know) lol I really like the video and also that you explain how you chose, who you applied with. I think a lot of people want to represent luxury brands and expensive companies and don't think what they actually use on a daily basis and what fits their lifestyle (and wallet). If I look in my wardrobe and look at Marv's (my horse) stuff, there are no luxury brands. It's all affordable (or was on sale) and that's my style and you are right that, thinking about it, my favourite KZfaqrs etc are all people that are using the things that I use, mainly because I can relate to them! Very happy to hear your ambassadorship (making up words here) is extended, good choice Shires ;)

I've got one of shire's synthetic saddles for my horse and it's amazing, and i find it very comfortable for my lower back especially. Ps/ my horse is a Highland x heavy cob, there's a video of her on my channel x

I know what you mean about shires being cheep. I can't afford a pony so only have lessons and for my birthday I got a grooming kit ( bought it all from Homme the year I was in the back of your vlog when you were show jumping.)

Curious question - did your initial interest in Shires products have anything to do with and The Shire? (noting the name of your cat, Frodo)

Meg I like you in darker colours because not many colours look good on colours/dun/ other colours that don't suit bright colours (not that your girls couldn't rock bright colours) and darker colours normally suit them so keep with your darker colours.

Technology it is some times saves you and then there are the days when you think everything is out to get you the way you cope it’s like with horses you dust yourself off and just keep going until you triumph at whatever you are doing that is when you know things are worth doing you have to work for it if it was to easy it’s not worth it
