The money method I went for was to hope everyone goes to the nether so no one bothers me on ruby and topaz spots. It worked.

I made the worst financial decisions imaginable in this update. You see while I was not under the first players to catch thunder, I was pretty early and I was like top 5 in magma fish collection. Meaning I had a lot of magma fish when golden magma fish were 40-60m each (I don't quite remember the exact price). I had golden magmafish worth 280m in my inventory and ... I did not sell them. Knowing the price would go down once more people unlock the recipe to craft it, but also thinking it would rise again or at least be somewhat stable once the really expensive recipes like Hellfire rod get unlocked. I just wanted to use them to craft my own inferno rod. Well and then they were only 60m. And when I upgraded my charm 5 recombed lucky t6 fishing enchant 3 stared t3 double hook and fishing speed magma rod to inferno - it was a clean inferno rod. So yeah thats how I kinda lost 300m IGN: LagopusPolar btw, got the 8th Thunder Armor in my museum

vanquisher farming, ghast farming and fighting ashfang are pretty good ways to make money tbh, for example ashfang can give you 20m/hr if you have a good party

I'm gonna leave this! The reason you can't open odgers menu is because you're talking to the wrong npc to give the fish to. You have to give them to a piglin that you talked to start the quest in the first place in the village to finish the quest, and then you're able to talk to odger again!
