How I CASHED a CHECK on Guntersville! (Tourney RECAP)

The kayak bass fishing national championship took place on lake Guntersville, only days after the BASSMASTER ELITES hosted an event there. The lake had experienced a lot of pressure, and fall fishing in October in the south has been especially tough this year. However, I was able to find an area and a few different patterns that helped me land 19th out of the 305 anglers from all over, cashing a check and ending that season in a good note!

I simply love your videos. Lots of great information and valuable instruction. This is the very first time I have commented and look forward to meeting you in the future. Enjoyed your appearance on tackletalk podcast. Once Andrew said he was thinking of doing a podcast on bass fisherman who musky fish, I immediately told him about this woman who fishes kayak bass tournaments and is borderline insane about her musky fishing. Congrats! I have never seen you more relaxed in a tournament. If you can’t have fun, what’s the point? The money is great but it is never about the money. Fish to catch fish and you will. Fish to catch money and it can ruin a great day of fishing!

Love your videos Kristine! I have the same yak, but the 12 and I have to say it always seems like you have your stance so narrow. I find myself in a little more of an athletic stance for better stability. Granted you have more in your yak than me and probably have better balance. Maybe when I pull in as many bass/fish as you I will be more comfortable. lol A fan here from Mpls. Congrats on another successful competition and take care!

Hi. I love your videos. You know what? Tell yu what. J/k. I just ordered some Tru Turn Bass red hooks to give a shot on the wacky rig. I'm thinking it may help vs the circle hook style small because I'm too anxious and want to set the hook and they're red so it gives the fish a sort of target. I donno. Thinkin. Congrats. Sorry you lost the two big fish at the end.

I use a neko hook for wacky rig/ always had terrible hookup ratio with circle hooks

Chatter bait on glass- the green was a legend x- not glass - I had a few different baits on that rod. Fluke floating worm

@@kristinefischer2289 something akin to your "how to load your PA 14" even if you don't have the muscle mass of a dude video (which was so helpful). How about gear selection? I know its not necessarily gender specific, but instruction from a female pro might be received differently by amateur female anglers. Regardless, thanks for your great content and best wishes in your upcoming tournaments.
