This is how i came to sub to Ray n Day back when Apex had very rampant Cheaters in the numbers, his cheaters caught content was really entertaining instead of meeting 1 cheater per month or 2 and only hearing about them in high tier lobbies like now

It says a lot (of negative things) about our society that people think it's in any way acceptable to cheat like this. If I ever caught my kids cheating in a multiplayer game (or sport) they'd be grounded until a cow comes by their table to ask which cut of meat they'd like.

Subbed man, I'm on ps4 and this is literally the only game I have truly enjoyed for years now, and I am sick of seeing people hack, especially now with the cross play it just make the lobbies trash, but I soldier on haha lucky its not too often I come across a suspicious player but it is becoming more common :( keep doing what your doing my man, excelent content.

I do exactly the same thing when I feel something sketchy is going on. I don't mind sticking to the cheater for 10 minutes just to make sure he's not just someone really good at the game.

I totally agree that bad movement is one of the best indicators of a cheater.

I was in a lobby with Shamphoe last week or the week before, and this same kind of thing happened. I'm sure half the lobby was watching as he/she racked up 20+ kills. I'm sure most people reported it, too. The fact that this obvious cheating can go more than a lobby means the cheat detection system and the reporting system is flawed.

This is also what I hate about getting deranked down to Bronze after having not played for a season or two. At least for SEA servers, Bronze lobbies are filled with cheaters. Low level undecorated players hitting all L-Star headshots midair after an Octane jump pad. They get filtered a lot at Gold or Platinum.

Notice how when they won, the cheater shoots at his teammate, but can't get a single shot in despite them "playing so well."

As a Teammate you won't really know unless you're spectating during a lot of the fights. You don't know their Damage or their kills.

This actually happen to me last night. I was full red and purple helmet and I got smoke in split of an eye. I thought damn okay he was better but then he took out the rest of the squad like they knew they were right around the corner. He didn't miss a shot on any of us and look little damage

The best part was when he popped a bat towards the end despite already having full shields from the regen. That's the #1 telltale sign of a cheater; godlike aim, but complete obliviousness with every other aspect of the game. These tend to be players who are so tragically bad at the game that cheating is the only hope they have of ever winning.

The way his life went down was so suspicious.

This season I noticed many new players in diamond lobbies with levels 40 - 80 and no stats and badges.

I was having a great game yesterday with two level 500 randoms and we were wiping the lobby. I was recording to make a YT video and we got killed by a hacker. I used my horizon q and I got destroyed with a wingman mid air. my teammates stayed to watch and the hacker got killed because we were able to shot his teammates and a third party came. I don’t understand cheaters. I have 700 plus hours trying to learn and get better at the game, and when I pull off a clutch move I feel so rewarded for my work. If you have to cheat on a videogame that you are supposed to play to have fun it makes me think that you are a very sad person with no willing to achieve anything in life and that is just sad. I don’t see how someone can get any enjoyment out of cheating. life is full of challenges and you can’t just cheat yourself out of them. the cheater mentality prevents you from wanting to achieve something with hardwork. I feel petty for the people that feel the need to cheat in any circumstances inside and outside of the game that won’t take you anywhere in life, don’t get used to the easy way to achieve success.

I used to have no data or badges on all my banners because I had a lot of toxic randoms flame me for "not being good enough to play with them" before even leaving the drop ship. This was back in seasons 0-2 though and I haven't come across that nonsense since.

This is extremely common, i see it at least once a game session, and i have reported cheaters on my team.

I got downed by someone yesterday who jumped into the bad at Caustics place to try and grab gold armor and didn't understand that they couldn't. Also they didn't know how to heal or how to open doors. But somehow killed 3 people in a row like a laser beam. Beginners luck is a thing, but repeatedly seeing this in lobbies is very frustrating.

And then there's me... who doesn't put on trackers so that people can't see that I only have 50 kills out of 200 games 😂

I actually didn't know the No Data thing implied cheats at all. I started Apex on launch day, but quit shortly after and only came back this season, so none of my trackers or badges look "impressive" and it just makes me feel a little embarrassed to see like "18 kills on Gibraltar" or something when its just because I haven't played much.

Hey man. I just use no data because my stats are ass. 🤣 almost 2k games played and only like 50 wins. In my defense I took season 2,3,5,6,7 off lol

The 'No Data' isn't always suspicious to me. I do this for most of the legends that I don't play often. I starter that because early on in Apex, it team mates saw my high level and then low kills (since I rarely played that legend), they would often just leave the match. The only way I could get randos to stay consistently was by having no data on my banners.

When I get with a cheater, I make as much rhythmic noise I can. Patterned gun shots and random nades, and use as many healing items as possible.

Side note: a pathfinder was in a ranked lobby that was Diamond, with a console player who was diamond, and they were Bronze 2. The systems of the game don't let Bronzes queue with diamonds. (at least it won't let a gold play with diamond) Yet here's a bronze pathfinder who won about 5-6 games in a row. Anti-cheat should flag accounts for immediate review once they win 5 straight games. If you notice, your Bangalore also won their last match as well.

As a teamate its hard to really know if your teammates cheating. I'm not a great player but I pop off some games and get lucky so without seeing the aiming and process from the persons perspective like you said I don't assume people are cheating so someone doing good in a game isn't something tha instantly makes you think "cheater" so honestly I don't think I'd he able to tell if a teammates was a cheater until I was dead and spectator

I listen to my gut feeling when I feel like I just fought a cheater; if it didn't feel right and the way I was downed doesn't make sense, I stop and spectate. My gut feeling about a possible cheater has been wrong before, I have been beamed by amazing apex players. But until I see how they fight and that feeling of "something about that didn't feel right" is still there, I watch them until I feel satisfied with "yes, they were a cheater" or "nope, I just lost a fight to a better player than myself". I don't assume everyone is a cheater, because not everyone is. Some people have put a lot of legitimate time into the game to reach the level of gameplay they're at

When I realize I have a cheater on my team, I report and leave the match if it's a pub match. If it's a ranked match, I keep playing but constantly harass him/her through chat.

I fully agree with this video and think it's really important for people to watch. Honestly 1 in 3 pubs I will say you may find questionable deaths and 1 in 2 ranked games (at diamond 4), like not saying they all cheaters but you know that awareness factor rises and they're suspicious, but it shouldn't be our job to have to watch and get evidence ourselves. I know some people saying you can't blame the devs, but this game made over 1 billion, and whilst other games have cheaters, their anti cheat systems seem so vastly superior to Apex. (I do not include Warzone in this since I don't play it). It just feels like respawn don't care 'enough' and we just have to be lucky enough to have content creators like you put in the work to help people be aware, but it shouldn't be left to you guys.

This really helped. I wish you had more tips on how to spot one before you die too. Also it seems like it's hardest to tell when they are on your team unless you are watching where they are shooting. Any tips on how to spot cheaters on your team once again without dying?

Oddly i played this same person and was like wtf is he that good? Apparently not. And yes i have played with cheaters what i do is wait for them to be downed and dont pick up the banner and hear them yell for me to revive her over and over🤣

16:09 yeh that's definite evidence, especially because of the smoke, when I play bangalore, I sometimes either guess which way the enemy is going to run and shoot at them or get close enough to hear their footsteps or see their shadow ,but when the guy shot 1- he couldn't see the enemy 2- he couldn't had guess that well where the enemy was running because there an area that would've blocked most of his shots. 3- the guy literally knew where the guy was coming from before he actually got there.

As a software engineer, I feel its useless to complain about cheating on PC. Some people buy the game or steal the game to have fun, and sadly that’s how they do it. Even pro players cheat at tournaments, its apart of the original code when testing, and there is no 100% way to lock it down. So it is what it is, and it most likely always will be when it comes to mouse and keyboard. Console controller aim etc, may be harder or less graphical but there’s less cheaters.

9:56 thank you for saying that " it USED to be" because I've been playing apex for a while now, I removed all my badges and trackers because It annoyed me looking at them. Occasionally I throw on the original skin but that is just me. I am not a hacker (and it really shows 😅😅)
