My hair is dark brown/black and I know someone who used that to go copper from black (took 2 tries)... have you used it on yourself/someone else? if so, does it last long? did you feel it damages hair a lot? any info would greatly be appreciated

dontstressitx3 I’m sorry i never saw your comment before, I’m sure you’ve already used the hi color and got your info by now but in case anyone sees this and is wondering. You can go from dark brown to red/whatever color with hi color in one process, it just depends on what level developer you use. It would damage your hair just as much as any other permanent color would. Every permanent color lifts and then deposits, same way hicolor does. 🙃

dontstressitx3 20 vol=1-2 levels of lift, 30 vol=2-3 levels of lift, 40 vol=3-4 levels of lift.

I know you asked that dude, but me and my friends did my hair an auburn color. We bleached it twice (from dark dark brown/black) and then dyed it imediately. The color was intense for a few days because my hair was stripped of all oil, but then it looked natural and healthy and did not look fried. It helps if you have naturally thick and slightly curly hair I am guessing. Do not be afraid to experiment! Have an eye for color and keep your brows in mind and you'll be fine.

dontstressitx3 i use it everyone i go from dark to red. It works for me! I mix red and the magenta from the brand and i get gorgeous red every-time. I boxed dyed my hair a year ago hated it and slapped it on top and it still came out nice. Just took two different times.

@@dontstressitx3 i recently used this on blonde and blue hair. The loreal Hilights in copper does work. But because my hair was blonde on one side, it came out more orange than copper. The blue side came out awesome, like a penny copper. Im now going to wash as much of it off and use the loreal paris c74 to see if i can get it one cooper tone. I have a video on my channel if you wanna see if it helps.

dakota elle Yasss. The leaf if soaked overnight gives u color. There are artificial colors available too. henna powder etc . they arent safe. grind and soak leaves in coffee overnight and add wat all ingredients u like ( onions, charcoal, acv, rose water, lemon, baking soda etc).

dakota elle They use colouring in it which might contain ammonia and other dangerous chems. Leaf doesnt give u the color Andrea has but it makes hair super healthy. There will be a bounce in your hair and u wash off with natural shampoo like soapnut gives u amazing results. But u dont like soapnut or any other reason, buy organic, ayurvedic, herbal shampoo. All the best.

Just a warning if you use henna, it's very hard to fade it or dye it. (You can bleach it but that would damage it a lot especially on top of the henna) You have to let it grow out.

Cyn no she used box dye. I am licensed and this does the same thing, actually worse, than bleach and a color will do. Box dye is so harsh on your hair ...it’s ridiculous. I have a cool toned red in my hair and I bleached it and then did a semi permanent and my curls are STILL intact. If that’s what you’re worried about!

They have a collection which is the Siesta one, and some of the colours such as "Honey/ Sugar Brown/ Cinammon /Brown/ really look like the one that she's wearing in the video. Me, i already bought 3 different colors and they're really confortable and very natural and cheap. Only 15$

Brittany Niicole buy the color she recommended and keep applying it once a month until the color sticks. It might not look right on the first try but just keep doing it. And buy the semi permanent dye she also recommended to tone your hair. The color will stick eventually.

Andrea Allen if it helps, I’ve been using L’Oréal hicolor hilights for dark hair on mine and it’s been working wonderfully on my naturally very dark brown hair. I use the copper shade and then go over it with the same thing she uses to tone.

dontstressitx3 hey! It didn’t damage my hair much- so far as I can tell at least. It helps to take care of your hair while it’s dyed so it can maintain its structure. I have really curly hair that’s thick so deep conditioning every week, and using the right products helped me keep it soft and shiny and curly. But when it comes to color, I used a 30 developer and two tubes to get the job done to cover my hair (I have a lot) and it worked wonderfully. Depending on how much hair you have, you may need more- mines roughly around my armpits when it’s dry and near my mid back when wet. That being said, it wasn’t a pure looking copper it started to look more like auburn when it was beginning to fade- so maybe a 40 developer may be better if you’re into pure copper because I know that works for a lot of people. Hope this helps
