Very artistic, great idea. I had to speed up the video because I'm a fast learner when it comes to something I'm interested in. I searched how to make a pair of shoes and your video was in the line up. If i try this, I will trace the material on top of the shoe first as opposed to just laying it on top of the shoe and cutting because once it's cut you can't correct it. As a matter a fact, I have some of that same tape that you are using I don't believe in buying something I just use what I have or improvise. Ok, thank you...

You can wash as normal nothing will happen to your shoe, as long as you don't use fabric that will fade.

Use fabric that won't fade out, and it will last as long as your other shoes. I used Evostic gum
