I am super excited to share my latest behind the scenes video, showing how I created my New York City timelapse "Liberty". This video features a ton of unreleased timelapses from the project, my thoughts on some of the shots and behind the scenes set ups.

I wanna be up there someday, in NYC, making my own film, capturing my own moments. Long before you found you on KZfaq, I was madly in love with the shutter sounds and the fun in creating something by your bare hands. KZfaq has a lot of "creators", but nothing beats the creativity of amazing cameraphiles like you, and someday in the next 10 years, me as well. I'm 19, not even from the US, or even a native English speaker. But it's a promise, and you inspire me.

Great video Michael. How did you keep from getting bumped into by people? It seems whenever I use my tripod, I get bumped around.

I usually put my feet next to at least two tripod legs. Sometimes my set up gets knocked a bit. But I didn't have too many issues during the filming of this video. The worst place I have ever tried to timelapse and not get bumped is Busch Gardens, then maybe the Vegas strip as a close runner up.

Your timelapse Film was amazing, no question about it. But it was missing somthing, Like the amazing glass reflection of the wtc from close up (and more) would have looket so amazing in timelapse video, sad that you dident film that. There is alot missing.

I had a specific idea of what I wanted to shot to look like and while I did enjoy the result, it didn't end coming out exactly how I wanted to show in the video.

Your good. But the hard part of LT is most of the time they suck. Hard to anticipate the future, you got to set it up. Wait. Check it on a computer. Then figure if it was good or not. I might get 1 out 5 of TL as usable content. That means to me, every usable one has a cost of 5 time of what it took me. That 1 hour TL, really took 5, not including the setup/review time too. TL is hard!
