i played the penacony storyline when i was going through a really awful time mentally, and these characters helped me put myself back together (kinda odd considering how they are all very angsty and struggling a lot themselves haha). seeing them interact like this and be so cozy and happy is so nice, you can really feel the camaraderie in the piece. great art and informative video ☺

Woah that revision stage was crazy. It really improved the piece though, and it showed me how important it is to move back in order to move forward sometimes. Great video👍

this was so so so informative and straight to the point. i usually get easily overwhelmed or even underwhelmed by process videos but this one really broke down the steps to (in my opinion) an extremely complex type of illustrations. Thanks for the great video and the review!!

Thanks for the tips, I had an idea for a lofi large group poster but it wasn’t working out. I really like the idea that the characters should be interacting with each other to tell a story, and the hint to add in Easter eggs for the highly observant 😁

This was actually so helpful. I ended up taking notes cause I really want to make something like this. I absolutely love crowded scenes so it's one of my goals! I think I've tried before but it wasn't as effective as something as stunning as this. Thank you so much for this man, will be trying it out in the future (maybe even for artfight lol)

This really gave me some inspo for my OC characters. I've been drawing too many solo characters and I do want to do more "group" or "action" scenes. I like doing scenery as well so I should get started. 😊

HOW did u get your camera up there to take that reference video?? thats so intuitive and i think ill try to do it going forward, but i have. like. no idea how to make sure my camera stays stable and at the right angle while i take it

lolo my camera tripod can hold phones so I just put that + my phone on a table to get maximum height

ooh! what final pixel size did you use for the illustration or how do you decide on it? do you ever do any resizing of the canvas resolution or how do you make sure it fits when you need to extend for the bleed but not want to sacrifice the quality of what you've already drawn? does it really matter what pixels size you use or is it more about the ratio? i'm... struggling with this lolol

I usually use an 11x17in (330x5100px) canvas at 300dpi since that's the biggest print size I make! when I resized, I extended it by ~0.25in on both sides, filled in the edges, and then made the img size back into 11x17in without cropping so that the parts that I filled in will be the 'bleed' that might get cut off in printing, hope that answers some of the Q's lolo

OMG YOU REPLIED REALLY FAST! oH MY GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH you're one of my biggest inspirations doing heaven's work omg i love you so much thank you! no one ever really talks about the technical sides of things (i'm so perfectionist so it's been driving me crazy) 😭💕 i know that A3 is the size i want to draw in, but i just have no idea how it should be set up properly... i just see your art is so detailed and crisp i'm truly amazed! ♡♡
