Shirisha K I know this is an old comment but I thought I'd reply anyway! The arrows indicate if it's a clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. I guess to keep it in mind so you don't shift in the middle of the design or so you can remember you prefer the look of clockwise or whatever, just reference points. For some reason this design... I've looked at it and the tutorial sheets you can find online but I just.... for some reason couldn't get my head around it, so the video helped. I hope despite the arrows that it helped you too, Shirisha! (Lovely name by the way!) Cheers!
