yeah, u r super right. It's better to know the thought process of the artist from which people can learn. It cannot be considered copying or anything if u decide to follow the same process all the time. Bc Leonardo Da Vinci could teach you something but it cannot be the same, bc you simply arent the same person ehem anyways life is made to learn by imitation so seeing all the steps really helps to learn them and apply them on ur own. Kuroshiro is one of my favs art channel from the style to the simple explanations.

human art always > AI Art. i am so so happy you haven't stopped drawing. And I will continue these videos to hopefully remind even more people on that. I think the joy of creating something with our own hands can't compete with any 'seamless' looking output an AI can do. So the own enjoyment and fun is the most important :)

You really are a good content creator, Kuro. I don't know if I was the commenter that made you think of this, but I did leave a comment on a community post you made before you released your last video before this one, in which I talked about how it would be good to see slowly and clearly the decisions you were making inside of the software, as well as you naming tools that fit better to each role. Only a video later, you've already implemented all of that and the results are awesome, outstanding work. Also, your video editing skills have been improving! You're helping a lot with this, so I just wanted to thank you for your work. Additionally, it's great to see Arlecchino bearing that trademark Kuro face now! Helps me get inspired ;)

Thank you for the very detailed new video! I'm always glad to see your full process videos! 😊It especially helps me with learning how to properly shade clothes and hair. I'm really envious of how well you draw the face the first time. From sketch to finish, it doesn't change all that much. I feel like I end up changing eyes and mouth at least 3-4 time if not more during the process. 🤣So it's something I need to improve on. Thanks as always for sharing your advice and tips! 😊

Thank you very much. Actually faces are the hardest thing for me and it's just luck when I get it right on the first attempt. Since my sketch brush is thicker than the lineart I don't see mistakes in the sketching process. I change things so often in later stages which is oftentimes the main reason I drop works.

how long does it takes you to finish this piece (or any piece) ? and do you have a lot of break between it? iam struggling a lot with the illustrating process mentally 😭😭😭 i feel like if i do it in one sitting, i ended up rushing it, if i take breaks, often i took a little too long of a break, and ended finishing it for too long (which is unfavorable to me, because i want to also learn on how to draw as fast as i could possibly can, without draining my energy and will too much) a long question, sorry😅😭😭

This piece took 25h more or less. Usually when I like what I am seeing it's motivating me to keep drawing. I also set a daily goal like "I want to get done with at least the shading for this part today " then I am looking for a nice video to watch while drawing which is long enough and I am drawing without break as long as the video goes^^

can you share what kind of art studies you use to do to get to this point? (like gesture drawings or smt?)
