Too bad this is NOT MONEY FOR THE REST OF US. As you are using Acretrader, they only allow accredited investors. Mary and Bob U.S.A. middle class investor are generally NOT accredited. The rich getting richer! Maybe show results and investing for the regular, middle-class person who does not have millions in order to be accredited.

Yeah, it is a shame that most of the farmland funds are for accredited investors. I suspect one of the platforms will launch an Interval fund that will issue 1099 and be for everyone.

Very helpful! Is 10 year period a minimum hold period or can we expect to sell it before than that and still make profit?

Depends on the specific deal but seems like most of the farmland opportunities have a 5 to 10 year holding period.

Do you get a depreciation for your farmland investments and how much of that compared to the amount of money you invested? Also do you recommend a specific farm in acretrader?

Since the land itself doesn't depreciate, no depreciation expenses there. Farmers can depreciate equipment so those depreciation charges would run through the P&L of a specific farm deal. I haven't researched the current AcreTrader offerings.
