Being British, a lot of the World is open to me to visit. So you must be crazy to think I would give up my UK passport, right!?
But when I had the chance to obtain a passport from another country, I just couldn't resist... Yes that's right, I'm now the proud holder of a passprt from the Bailiwick of Guernsey!

I got the New British Passport its better than the old one, Bro' i am truly a British Citizen Coming from Britian 😂🇬🇧

I quite like it too! First time I've ever had one from Guernsey too, and now I have to keep putting that Guernsey is my nationality when I fill out forms!

Interesting little video; well, I didn't know that the Channel Islands issue their own passports, so I've learned something today! Though I'm quite happy with my bright red Swiss passport 🙂

the channel islands of Guernsey and Jersey as well as the Isle of Man in the Irish sea are not part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, they are self governing Crown Dependencies their loyalty is to the Crown, and because they are not and have never been part of the UK, thats why they do not have a passport saying "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", however their citizens are full British Citizens and have "British Citizen" under their nationality and can live and work freely in the UK like any other British citizen

Yes as people from Guernsey are full British Citizens

Interesting, I wonder if you'll ever go somewhere obscure where they question you on the meaning of Bailiwick of Guernsey on the front cover of your passport. How long did it take for your application to be processed? I renewed my passport four years ago and the service was good, but during the pandemic it was a nightmare, as experienced by a British friend who lives here. Hopefully things have improved.

I am ever so slightly concerned I'll be rejected entry somewhere! Application took about 5 weeks

@@helloantoniotraveladventures I was able to track my application since I sent it by registered mail, and there was a holdup on the British side, took about two weeks for my documents to be delivered to Liverpool from the sorting office, after that the service was prompt. Royal Mail going down the pan.....

It's a shame. Things take weeks to get to Guernsey sometimes!
