Hello Joshua, I am 53yrs. old educated and never been to prison. I studied Psychology and Sociology, not to brag but to tell a bit about me. We have different backgrounds but you are so well spoken, intelligent and definately aware of self. You are a valuable part of society and your voice is vital to all of us. I commend your blog, it has substance and is a great teaching tool of honesty and you also give off a humble and caring vibe. Thanks for you channel, Gary

Trolls don't even deserve the time, but u got it regardless fool. Props I guess...

Jeff obviously has never been to prison because he doesn't know it's mostly about respect. Talks completely disrespectful insulting someone who never said he was in prison. Insulting a man trying to give a compliment then gets offended by a momma joke. That's called arrogance.

mad respect 🤙 I myself took a bad turn at a really young age and got into some serious shit and drugs and the streets and it took me alot of heartbreak, pain, tears, and hard lessons I had to learn on my own before I got sick of living life that way. it's amazing how all the years of slingin shit and running around with horrible people I thought was family and stealing robbing people.... I never thought or really felt scared..scared for myself maybe but scared and never thinking of the consequences or my future..I figured I'd end up dead from someone else or me ODing, or in prison.... but I look back now and I wouldnt change a thing. I had my 3 years clean in February and I thank God for it everyday but mad respect to you and to everyone who came up from the ashes and made it....and to all the loved ones we lost along the way 🙏❤

My friend was sort of in the same situation you were in but he was the one that got jumped & stabbed. I just got the the park to play ball and everyone is going crazy. My friend is a body builder/boxer. I think it's an adrenaline thing, he didnt feel it but everyone saw him leaking from his side and back. He was all riled up and didnt know he could've died so I told someone to hold him, talk to him, make him sit or lay down so I could get my car. I pulled my car up to the basketball court and put him in the car and had someone else to ride along so they could put pressure on the wounds. On the way to the hospital, I was stopped for doing damn near 100. I had all the windows down so once the cop saw my friend in the back bleeding everywhere he just said "Oh Shit!... follow me" he ran back to his car, put the sirens on and we took the emergency lane all the way to the exit near the hospital. When we got to the hospital, he asked where it happened because he didn't get a call on his radio and asked for our names and my number and he took off after that. An hour later he found the guys a mile away and one of them still had the bloody knife on him. He came back to the hospital to fill us in on what happened but had to leave to do a bunch of paperwork. He needed 3 blood transfusions. The doc said he was lucky due to the muscle mass on his body and fast thinking of people around him.

I know a guy who had an argument with his sister & it upset HER BF. Her BF went to HIS APARTMENT & was gonna "TRY" to give him a BEATDOWN, she knew it would not end well cause he was a guy who....lets say, "WENT HARD IN THE PAINT!" Long story short, the BF ended up in a shit bag from a steak knife to the gut(10 inch cut from what I was told). Anyhow, my friend was arrested BUT about 2-2 & half weeks later, ALL CHARGES AGAINST HIM WERE DROPPED due to that fact that the BF WENT TO HIS HOME WITH THE INTENTION OF HURTING HIM! Your story & his story are VERY VERY SIMILAR. I hate that this happened to u & my heart goes out to u. I've been watching your vids 4 a little while now & I am gonna subscribe.

Say Death I just wanna say RESPECT 2 u man. I stumbled across your channel day b4 ystdy and I been binging it str8 since. I feel your content but mostly it's just good 2 hear a real person speaking real facts on real s***. I moved to a new state a few years ago and the amount of fakeness I've encountered in 4 years has literally fried my brain. Saying that, your sincerity rings thru my KZfaq and it's soothing like cocoa butter on ashy-ass kneecaps n elbows. I wish u all best success in your enterprises and endeavors, keep spreading truth AND positivity just like you've been doing. Your story reminds me of when I was 19 and was in a similar spot. I wasn't in such a high-stakes situation, but I was definitely one second away from hurting someone in a way which would've landed me in prison for life. I can still remember that feeling I got when I decided to put down the knife. Watching your videos is oddly comforting to me, like being able to watch the bullet that was dodged in slow motion to appreciate just how blessed I am to be here. Michael R. The Federal system isnt full of smart people. There are people who kill/kidnap people and brought them across state lines. Terrorists and people with child pornography. Its not just fraud and money laundering. My sister was in federal prison and was housed with a crazy lady who killed her two young kids and drove them a few states over. She’s not very bright. She’s also not one of the rare ones either.

If he still kept attacking you, then you were still defending yourself. It was self defense, if I were on the Jury, you would have my innocent vote! I hear the inmates find out pretty quickly what a person is in for, because you were defending yourself, did that account for them respecting you more, or does it matter? Did you have a job in prison and if you wanted to continue education, is one able too? Have you seen the movie, “Shawshank Redemption”, if you have... did you care for it?

I was stabbed in the back on East Hastings Street in Vancouver. I broke up a fight between two street people. I football tackled one guy and then grabbed the guy that was on the street already. I picked him over my shoulders and “powerbombed” him into the concrete. I went back and kicked the other guy on the face just to keep him subdued. While this was happening someone “punched” me in the back. I spun around and couldn’t tell who punched me. The fight was all over. I got back in my truck and drove off to the freeway to safety. It wasn’t until I felt a warm liquid dripping down my back. I thought “fuck, I got stuck! I hope it wasn’t a needle!” Luckily for me it was a knife. Sorry for the long winded story but it was to show that most of the time, a stab feels like a punch.

I've seen a few of your videos over the years but this was the first time seeing this. Personally, I think you needed a better lawyer for self defense but knowing how things work it isn't surprising. I've had that nightmare for years of ending up in your situation because people don't realize that can be anyone's reality...even if it is a case of mistaken identity and they come to your house thinking you're someone else. Hopefully more people hear your story because this land has plenty of occupancy in the legal "system" and they prefer to keep you in it as long as possible. Keep up the great work!
