The Affliction league mechanic can directly affect the chance for things to drop in patch of exile. (PoE 3.23)
I Have made way over 50 Divines since launch with 20 Divines in a single day.
In this one I will go over:
1) Why currency farming is so strong in this league.
2) What my stratergy for farming currency is.
3) How you can replicate what I'm doing.
4) Which maps I am running.
4) How to use the bulk trade in the game.
5) A great tool to help you make currency.
6) How to buy multiple divines for a tonne of chaos without leaving your hideout.
7) Some of the pitfalls with the league mechanic.
It has truely been insane this leagues start for currency.

Finaly it makes sence, I been trying to understand the "juicing" of maps, but never really get until now, thank you! I am probably still doing parts of it wrong but the difference is now is huge. I have one question though, do you activate the "eater of worlds" during clearing or after clearing but before "league content"? Thank you for a very good video!

The sooner you activate the alters the better because the bonuses kick in as soon as they are selected. That said if you are trying to keep up headhunter buffs and the like that can waste time. Glad the video helped and thanks for watching!

Nice video, just have a quick question, does the tier of the map influence in the drop chance of the items or not?

You do get fewer drops in lower tier maps. I tested this on yellow maps adding some mf. 2 vendors a belt and a flask and you can still get good results. A lot depends on how many wisps you get. You will always get more with soaps than you could without. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Hello. I just got my crit LA deadeye somewhat optimized for my noob standards. I’m running legion on T16 Dunes maps 20% quality, alched and vaaled, also with a gilded legion scarab. Fairly decent drops but seems like a lot of random stuff I’ll have to sell bulk, rarely getting divines. Also find myself getting wasted every once in a while when the empowerments are too strong. Do you think I should switch to this strat now? Or save up some divine to get a good bow and quiver for TS? I’m just afraid to switch over and then be too weak for the content. Thanks in advance.

Once you level if you're not in hardcore give it a try and see how you go, that will minimise your loss, if it works stick with it otherwise switch back.

for the record - jungle valley map doesnt have map boss altars because boss isnt on the map -> he spawns later.. so u could run any other map that has this mechanic and there wouldnt be those altars ( idk is there more boss monsters lik that tho xd )

I almost wanna say don't spec into expedition. If you don't use the keystone for 1 explosion, then placing the bombs (or in some cases not placing all of them in useful places) takes a bit of time to read and place/not place. And from when i messed around with it, enemies having the shield in front so you have to kite them to do damage combined with wisp empowerment just increases time to kill. So it can feel like a waste of passives and a time dampener in some cases with some builds.

I don't like the one big bomb. It gets me killed because I'll end up putting over some invulnerability that I didn't read. It can slow you down for sure but just trying to get many mobs in as possible. I don't have issues with the shields because I can do damage from behind with tornado shot. Feel free to customise as needed. I do like ritual once you get far enough across the tree. Thanks for watching and sharing!

@@Altek2k Yeah thats understandable. I didn't wanna say avoid it completely cos it could be worked with, but more like a nudge on what might come about for some people. I'm playing TS as well and those mobs for some reason weren't getting hit with all the damage from the returning proj from behind them. Almost like the uptime for the shield was covering secondary hits or something. Who knows!!! Either way, this is deffo an informative vid. Keep up the great work and look forward to more of your content. :)

I saw your iiq/iir at 00:10. It is pretty low but pack size is insane. I am playing 200+/200+ iiq/iir and can not get quarter of that drops. SO looks like pack size is matter!

I’m a new player, tour currency strategy looks nice I’ll try that when I get to maps. Any tips on how to transition from then end of campaign to maps ? Struggling a little bit.

Your Character should be way more than strong enough to do white maps once you finish the campaing. If you are not i dont even know how you killed kitava. This start is really really hard to do. The empowered monsters are really really strong, so strong that i chose to skip the affliction mechanic and continue mapping without it. If you are a new player you probably wont be able to do this.

It will really depend on the build you're playing. My best advice in general is to replace your most woeful gear first using trade and stick to white maps until your gems level a bit.

You want your resistances at 75% all elemental resistance.Around 3k hp and get flasks with armor evasion damage

I use delve to level, it has no bearing on the strat an you can replace with anything else that will give you benefit.

Yes, Masa. It's connected so you get a bonus to dropping jungle valley and visa versa. Also drops the nurse and patient div cards. Thanks for watching!

man, I often feel weird when reading comments on PoE forums, for leagues such scourge or this one, so many players are whining non-stop, while GGG just giving out most broken and insane loot, while all they need to do is pace themselves, build up their character to handle more difficulty and MORE loot, A LOT MORE. This league is bonkers!!! Finally abyss is important

The one in the footage - around 20 - I just added a 10 div watchers eye. So it's now quite expensive. You can live without it it just improves survivablity.

That’s my strat it’s good but you have to have a lot of movement speed and evasion rating, and it’s worth it even if ur dying in maps

It can work in lower maps, just not as consistantly. If you have magic find gear (Ventors Gamble rings, bisco's belt) You can actually get multi divine drops in yellow maps.

We are not going directly for currenvy on the alters unless we get something good like divines. When we are offered trash currency we are going for currency/Card duplication and quant/rarity - Quant and rarity scale with the leauge mechanic for some amazing resullts. If you get the right rare moobs this can cause multiple divine drops.

If you are running the league mechanic then yes. The real key to making currency this league in tandem with the league mechanic is to get as many mobs on your map as possible and more league mechanics is better than just one for pure mobs. There is one exception that I know of and that is abyss which you can get to spawn an insane number of mobs from the spires although this requires a lot of scarab and sextant investment not to mention a very strong character to make it work.

@@1990rableIf your build is strong the I would actually go with croutching Tuna's T16 Abyssal Strat, I've been testing it it and avaraging 2 divs a map of high end items. If your character is weak start with this and use the currency to get stronger then run Tuna's

Ok.. so Tornado Shot IS NOT a good build for this league, if you want to do the league mechanic. This is wrong advice.. It cannot clear the mobs if you have 5k+ wisps UNLESS you have a very very geard TS, like HH+phys bow.

Breach mobs don’t drop good stuff/ stuff overall . Why is this dump?breach is good when you run delirium.

I think you miss-understood me, the problem with breech in these maps with all the buffs is they last for a finite amount of time and I struggle to kill the more tanky mobs before they close, so lose out. So run encounters that aren't timed.

Don't do mechanics you don't invest it, it's always going to slow you down. It's a good tip, unless you're an idiot who love wasting time instead of doing additional maps which can make your investment worth it.
