Maybe your most important composition so far, gisting all the pain that led to creating this pearl, with your soft voice, with all your expression, in big letters, for all to see. A sensitive mussel needed to pump a whole ocean through her fragile shell wings, escaping cold waters to arrive at safe shore, and she became strong, independent and beautiful on a long hard journey. No mussel needs to encapsulate sand grains, yet I believe they do to turn the misty gray of dawn into a colourful bright day, to make this world more beautiful and warm, and so do you dear Julia, with all of your beautiful heart🌈🌞💖🤗🥰✨

Dearest Julia, knowing that you would make every attempt to have this video out before midnight on Jan 29th I could not stay up to wait for it. Yesterday was cold and very windy and I spent all day outside. The afternoon was spent out with the chainsaw and skidder to pick up some of the last of the trees blown down by the wind storm on Dec 18th. Coming inside to the warmth brings a sleepy spirit. Blessings have come to me as I have aged. The introvert nature exhibited as a child, not shown the love every growing thing requires, has been replaced by a new man. It was difficult to get the child to utter a word but now equally difficult to shut him up. I have been equally blessed with a physical body that allows me to do what some young people can not do. But the greatest blessings include my relationship with you. Although we have never met physically we both recognize the connection between us, so many coincidences!!! I KNOW I was sent to you in a trying time to demonstrate to you what s special person you are. The circumstances under which the first contact was made was divine inspiration! You have become very special as I experience more of you! Now to comment on "How I Feel", Your talent has never been better demonstrated than with this "piece of your heart". I have listened countless times but your vocals still raise the hair on the back of my neck. This is the best you have produced. I thought "Rhythm", "Faith Will Do" and "Lifeline" were a pinnacle of your talent but this piece indicates you may not be there yet!! "How I Feel", excels in every aspect. Vocals, lyrics and score, It builds an massive emotional expression in me as the music builds. We are a sum of our experiences, yours have resulted in incredible expressions!❤🤗

This song and video are a tribute to the pain that others can cause us, while simultaneously being a testament to the ability that we have to heal ourselves and others. It is a diary on display to help us reflect on our own thoughts and actions. It is a reminder of the importance to be kind and trustworthy and to never be selfish with our thoughts and our words and our actions. I can already promise you, Julia, that this song and video will be pure catharsis for so many who view it, and it is my great hope that it has been the same for yourself? You heal others in your quest to find solace and understanding in your own life, and I can think of no greater calling or attribute. This is one of the most powerful songs you have released to date, and as painful as it is in its meaning, it is so utterly beautiful in its sound. The one-take black and white videography only adds to the experience of this being a memory being recalled in real time, complete with the underlying thoughts and emotions around it. It takes great strength to be that vulnerable, and you have my greatest appreciation and admiration for doing so. Clapping with amazement, tears in my eyes my heart midway to my stomach... Thinking of all the ones I have known throughout my life and hoping that they have gotten much more comfortable in their bodies. I am human and my body is somewhat weirder than it use to be. Though, I am content with it despite what I say in the VANITY MIRROR.
