@@ConfluenceNutrition So the title is How I Finally Healed My Gut From IBS and SIBO the summary is I finally treated my SIBO and root causes WTF? It's so hard for these videos to just tell everyone specifically what they did. I feel like none of the ppl who made these "helpful" videos actually went through this hell. I wish to God and I pray to God constantly that I could get through this and be normal again not in constant pain. If I did, I would definitely make a detailed video on EVERYTHING I tried and that worked rather than this vague BS we see in every video lmao.

@@mysubscriptions5619 I hear you, it is super frustrating. I can assure you that I spent 10 years struggling with these symptoms and they ruled and ruined my life. The trouble is it would take me a year to talk about everything I did. The truth is I found the method I used to engage with my symptoms was more helpful than the specifics. In my work with clients, there is such a range of what is actually effective. But for me personally: 1. the rifaxamin neomycin combo was like magic. 2. using prokinetic treatment between my courses was super useful. 3. I retested between treatment so I was basing my decisions on reality, not guesses. 4. I ate a modified low FODMAP diet until I was SIBO negative, and then worked on reintroducing foods. Some worked out, others didn't and still don't. 5. Once I was SIBO negative, I addressed my root causes (endometriosis and adhesions) with Clear Passage physical therapy. Expensive, but worked. Your path may look different. There is no one-size-fits-all treatment for SIBO, unfortunately, and I've had a front row seat to that as I've worked with hundreds of clients. Each one is totally different, though there are trends.

But if gastritis is one of the symptoms, peppermint tea will flare the inflammation in the stomach. Also be careful with type of magnesium because mag citrate can flare inflammation in the stomach too. Then if insulin resistance and high blood sugar is a problem in the mix then prunes won't be a good idea either. Plus I know for myself, prunes would set off a gastritis flare as well. Just saying. Worked for OP but you have to take your own individual symptoms into account.

My symptoms are alternating constipation/ straining, loose, bulky malodorous stools, gas, bloating, tenesmus and a sulfur odor... I have started a low FODMAP diet 2 weeks ago and it's helped with the bloating and odor, but little else.

If I described everything I tried, this video would be soooo long! But essentially, I 1. treated, 2. did follow up testing to make sure I was basing my decisions on reality 3. used prokinetics between rounds of treatment 4. used antifungal treatment in between antibiotics because that's what my body needed 5. treated 3 times, until I was SIBO negative, 6.used prokinetics post treatment for about 6 months. 7. did Clear Passage physical therapy to treat my root cause, which was slow motility due to endometriosis adhesions and scar tissue. 8. maintained a diet that minimized symptoms. For me this was a modified low fodmap diet. That's a quick summary of what worked. I tried a million other things that didn't help or made things worse: probiotics, enzymes, betaine HCL, parasite protocols, h pylori protocols, enemas (well the enemas did help, that's a whole other story), keto diet, paleo diet, etc. etc. you get the idea! My SIBO treatment with rifaximin started in FEb 2021, I did it again in April, and July, and then in December. Clear Passage was Nov 2021. Hi Joseph, these are great questions, and I can only speculate in a short comment here. These are the kinds of problems I help my clients solve, and truthfully, it often takes a dedicated process of structured experimentation to find your answers. For some clients, it's 6-8 weeks, for others, we have to work on the problem for a while. If I had to take a stab at it, I think SIBO is a reasonable hypothesis, you can test for it, see my video about testing for SIBO without a doctor if you don't have one who is willing to work with you. Hi Daniel, yes, I can work with anyone anywhere and support and advise you about your IBS. However, I may not be able to order stool test kits for you. Often, people work with their local practitioners to do that part if that's something they want to explore. Would you like to set up a time to discuss?

I have methane sibo + blasto H, so my dr told me to take rifaximin + metronidazole (instead of neomycin). I have tinnitus sometimes. Quite scared about all this.

Hi Andrea, a lot of people share your concern about the neomycin. Though the possible ear issue is a documented side effect, it's still quite rare. In these situations, I usually ask my clients to consider the risks vs rewards, and to have them make their decision from there.

So basically anabiotic’s was the solution because herbals didn’t do squat for me😊

For me, yes, and I was only willing to try the antibiotics after I failed the herbs several times. I really didn't want to do the antibiotics! But in the end, it was the right decision for me.

So what about the men ?
@ConfluenceNutrition

The process is the same, but obviously, men won't have gynocological problems! We still have to use the same process of seeking the likely underlying causes, and testing our theories about that one by one.

Terrible video. Not helpful at all. So many conflicting advice on YT, it seems the people want to make money off you, instead of helping you.
