This actually brought me to tears Debi. I'm 63 years old and have wanted to help people my whole life. I've been sewing and tailoring as well as refinishing furniture my whole life. I just filed for an LLC with my friend and just started a KZfaq channel. Videos to follow....

Debi I live in South Point, the very southern tip of Ohio. I see the decline in my area also. It’s so sad and it is very hard for a small business to make it these days. Who knew social media was good for some things... You have what it takes to survive and have done quite well for yourself. You are teaching us all to push through when we feel our age. ( I’m 57.) Your creativity and zest for life is contagious!

Oh my, this video brought tears. Debi you are amazing and delightful to watch. I am not a business owner I am retired and on the road working as a host at campgrounds. I have a wonderful life of traveling the country. I use DIY paint and IOD transfer when ever I can even volunteering to do pieces for friends and family. Thank you for your inspiration

Hi Debi, WOW, what an awesome video. The story is so real for me. I don't have a business, nor do I want one. I am more of a crocheter than a painter and so many people have said to me "why don't you sell your stuff online"? I always come back as there is way too much competition for crocheted items, and they are all so much better than me, or I don't want to be tied to a business, etc., so many more excuses and mostly I say, I like word of mouth much more. Most people don't want to pay for "handmade" items and they don't consider the time it takes to crochet things. Anyway, I hate being on camera myself so I can totally relate to being an introvert. Debi, I have been a silent viewer of your for a very long time. Years! I’ve witnessed your struggles, your healing, and your growth. You DID say something in this video that has landed. The fear of starting a KZfaq channel has been paralyzing me for years. I will need to watch this again to grasp what it is you and your friends shared that finally ignited something and now I will begin my perfectly imperfect journey of sharing with women...I’m sure some will pass on through (quickly exiting the channel), some will hang around for a little bit, and some will appreciate, maybe even love what I have to share. I love the odd, outside of the box, the road less traveled. There’s nothing exciting about “normal”! I decide what my normal is and it’s usually very far from the accepted! You are all so courageous!
