@@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing And you too, Wayne. One quick question and I'm assuming yes. There is no longer any commercial fishing allowed at the mouth of the North Pine is there? When I was a young teen, there were three or four boats at least that worked the mouth of the river upstream from the Hornibrook. The nets would be staggered down the river making it almost impossible for fish to get up or downstream. Anyway, just another memory. By the health of the system, I'm assuming there is no longer any commercial fishing, especially after Hay's was declared a Green Zone. And once again, I hope you and your family have an awesome Christmas.

Thanks Better Tackle. Unfortunately I don’t have the pizazz required to attract enough subscribers for this channel ever to be more than a hobby. That said I like having no pressure from sponsors and being able to fish however I want and wherever I want.

Love your videos Mate... I'm a land based fisho and found an awesome spot on that river with great facilities for land based.. It was at deep-water bend.. Just alot of snags there.

Great video. Thank you for all the tips. While fishing here a couple of times, I have seen some huge mullet. I would like to target them on fly, what time of year would you recommend being the best?

I have very little experience with Fly fishing but the mullet are in better numbers during the cooler months.

Hey Wayne. Stupid question - how do you flush / rinse your minn kota after a session? Just hose it down or anything more involved?

I thought fishing with opposite wind and tide was better? , So you can cast further with the wind and the current brings your bait back naturally?. Is this not a good idea Wayne?

We’ve all caught fish in every type of combination. I just find if the weather is bad I prefer the wind and tide working with each other is better.
