Turbulent flight from Grand Forks to Kamloops via the Okanagan Valley, from the US border to Salmon Arm, in my Vans RV6A.
Flying over Osoyoos, Oliver, Okanagan Springs, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Westbank, Kelowna, Vernon, Armstrong and Salmon Arm. Also beautiful views of Osoyoos Lake, Skaha Lake, Okanagan Lake, and Kalamalka Lake along the way.
I've set up a "Buy Me a Coffee" page. To support my channel, please go to:

I'm in Alberta now, but have always missed home. It was good to see this flyby and will be sharing with a friend who lives in Arizona.

Interesting to view the slag heaps from copper mining days north of Grand Forks and beside Greenwood. Also, I didn't know there was so much residential development on the east side of Okanagan Lake south of Kelowna. The flight as far as Osoyoos looks mighty rough to me--hope you landed with your vertebrae intact.

Maybe a silly question but why turning left from 25 (doing whole loop around airfield) if you wanted to go west towards Osoyoos then it is straight out? At 27:26 it is Wood Lake not Kalamalka. Kalamalka is next one! Thanks for great Vistas!

On departure I was following the VFR route...could have climbed straight out, but it was my first time in this area and wanted to fly the published route. You're right about the mislabel...oops!!

Your videos are absolutely impressive..... keep up the great work.....Love the scenery of British Columbia......I live in Vancouver, BC and our Province is one of the most scenic in North America in my opinion....everything to the ocean to the Valleys, city scapes and mountains.... I have not been through the Okanagan for a couple years which was on my way to Edmonton, Alberta...Okanagan is one part of the Province I gotta do more exploring once Covid is over.... I hope one day, you can do a fly over Metro Vancouver or something....Burnaby, UBC Coquitlam.....places like that.......It's exciting and interesting to listen to all the traffic control communications as well.....All the best

I'm loving your videos. Thanks! Can you fly from Princeton to Oliver and do a low fly over Vaseaux Lake? We have a family property and cabin on the south end. Oh no. Now your audience is making requests.
