Illumina, Feinberg, Silverrruns and I am doing a hardcore nof3 all versions race on 10pm UTC Friday (20 hours after this video going live), watch live on twitch at / k4yfour
Like Illumina's "Beating every version of Minecraft on Hardcore... in 1 sitting..." speedrun video, I speedran every full official version of Minecraft, but in survival and using f3. This 17 hour run beat previous world records by several hours each, and was the first 1.0-1.18 survival speedrun completed.

1:38:08 "how long would it take to break obsidian with your fist with mining fatigue 3 under water?" Obsidian takes 250 seconds to mine with your fist. Mining Fatigue III reduces your speed by 0.027x, so everything takes approximately 37.037x longer to mine. If you are in water, everything takes 5x longer to mine. Additionally, if you are not on the ground, it also takes 5x longer to mine, so if you're floating underwater, the time is increased by 25x. In total: if you're standing in water it takes ~12 hours, 51 minutes and 37 seconds to mine a single block of obsidian. (~46296 seconds) if you're floating in water it takes ~2 days, 16 hours, 18 minutes and 2 seconds to mine a single block of obsidian. (~231482 seconds)

Awesome journey I liked it alot. For me the peak is obviously the stranding on a floating island of 9 obsidian with a bed and an enderman bro! Lol

the reason your 1.2 spawn point changed is because you need leafs to (bed warp but in this case just warp) you to the top Having wood there killed the tower more or less

It means that you don't press f3 on your keyboard during the run/runs. Doing so gives you information which is advantageous for completing the run faster. Pressing f3 in version 1,3 and below will reveal the world seed, so it's not allowed in speedruns. Hope this helps :)
