How I got a $8500 tractor for about $1500 John Deere GX355

Күн бұрынAfter last year I knew I either had to rebuild my old mower or get a new one. I wanted a heavy duty machine, and not a box store tractor when I found this gem on FB Marketplace. This is how I got it back to "good enough to make the neighbors jealous" status.

nice machine, jealous of the deal you got, jd's green plastic is outrageously expensive, yan-mar makes a good motor, it is a top o the line machine, i just paid $1500 for a much more used kubota g1900, 4 wheel steering tho, diesel yard tractors rule

So you were able to take a new lower hood for a GX345 and modify it to fit? That's awesome because Deere wants a lot more for the 355 lower hood than a 345 hood.
