Tip 1: Never skip any questions. You can search it on youtube on how to do it. Tip 2: Always do practice question. Search it on the internet and spend more time on past paper. They are your best friend- HAHAH Tips 3: 2 notebook. 1st for formula 2nd questions that you got wrong.

i'm two weeks away from my final IGCSE and that's actually quite scary, but tbh right now my main focus is to just know how to solve everything, because if i do then there's no need for me to be scared. I've been doing past papers non stop, and I'm gonna go to IB next year and i will use all the tips you just mentioned since i sadly found this video too late for this year. i already have the past paper booklet thing where i write down my correct answers after i get them wrong, but i will get a formula notebook for next year. Overall, thank you so much! It's motivating to hear that someone who isn't an expert at maths can still get an A* because tbh, igcse maths 0580 papers are not that hard, i just need practice. The first few one or two-markers are quite scoring.

Hey I finally found somebody, unlike you I'm in a much worse situation and would like your opinion. Three months ago I had done multiple past papers for all subjects got decent grades but then for a month stopped as I was switching countries/travelling. Currently I've got a week left till my chem and maths IGCSE and all I want is an A as I've given up on the A*. I need to revise pretty much all chapters for all sciences+maths and then do yearly past papers within like 7 days it's been eating me from the inside killing me with anxiety stress etc but I still believe it's possible. Idk if I can cover a years course within days but Im aiming for As and hopefully I can get it. Please please please if there's any recommendations you have for me in my current state would be extremely extremely helpful.

@@m01zz55 hey, you have to believe in yourself! If you stress yourself out, as it is your brain won't be able to process any of the information you put into it. Three months is not a long time, you have to make sure that you still remember most of the things you learned in those 3 months. And hey, getting an A is not a bad thing! As someone who mostly gets Bs, getting an A is like heaven for me. I'm sure you'll do well. In IGCSE, don't memorise anything, you have to remember the concept and formulas and then apply it. I also only have a week left for maths, the best that you can do at a time like this is practise the things you don't understand over and over.

thank you for this video, been failing maths for like years since 1. im was quite lazy, 2. i didnt know how and where to study and start and 3. lack of basics due to 1 and 2. I am having my igcse mocks around 2 weeks later, for me the textbook questions are easy to medium, but i am quite scared of attempting the real hard exam papers since im scared of flunking them. Do you advise me to do the harder questions first or do the texbook ones ( which is time consuming), having difficulty with this decision since i have such little time left, thanks!

Hello! I advise you to attempt doing the whole past paper sets. The entire paper 2, and 4. Time yourself and just keep doing papers whenever you have time. I used to do 1 or 2 sets of paper 2, and 3 sets or more of paper 4, since it's harder. Hope that this is useful :)

4 months ago, I switched from partaking in the Australian curriculum to the British Curriculum in an online International School. You cannot even compare the two. School has become so hard.

In my school, they offer additional maths 0606, and those that take it, have to do their extended maths boards one year early! So basically, even though I'm in ninth grade, I have the board in 4 months, and haven't started

i actually have my math igcse paper in may/june this year, and we did one practice mock and I got an average C according to the teacher, which is terrible. Like Paper 4 was 46/130 and paper 2 was 63/70. And I really want to upgrade it to A or A* by next week. Cause I have another practice mock. So please wish me luck

I was learning the British curriculum from year 4 to year 9, but then went to a new school in year 10 and 11, that didn't use the curriculum. I am now going back to a school with the curriculum for second term year 11, do u think I still have a chance?

Hello, there. Yes, of course you do!! But, you got to remember that it would be really hard to catch up since Year 11 is just finishing what you had learned from Year 10. And during Y11, it's basically doing past papers and teachers correcting your papers. However, in order to do past papers, you need to be able to know how to solve the questions. Hmm... why don't you start from Y10?

Even though it will take time, I guess starting from Y10 would be a better option. Because IGCSE really, officially starts from Y10. And Y11 is mostly revision and finishing off the syllabus.

@@justsomeone5660 oh lol, just do the past papers. do as many as u can, and that's so cliche but literally nothing else works, that's all u can do for maths and that's what turned my Cs' into an A. there's this guy D math academy, just watch his videos to understand how to do it if u get something wrong and can't figure out why. yeah just speedrun as many as u can, and u should see significant improvement.

@@justsomeone5660 just begin past papers, and if u find that u are unable to understand a certain topic/consistently get questions wrong from that topic in ur past papers, then go to that chapter and do the book questions for that alone/ "))
