Interesting, I went to Boise state and landed a contingent worker gig in salt lake city for almost 3 months. In not sure if they took the wrong way but I tried to network, I spoke with the head of GIR in SLC. And a couple of senior analyst on what to do to land a full time position. All of them told me to do an MBA or a CFA for some reason 😅😅😅

an MBA can definitely help you pivot into a front office role, but if you are the best at your job in middle office or back office, then it is definitely possible to break into sales and trading. S&T is always looking for hungry, hard workers who are top performers. I've seen it multiple times.
