This study is so good. Years ago when I first became a Christian it was suggested to me to read John In it’s entirety. John helped me to understand the Holy Trinity. I am hoping to be able to join the Bible Study when you start. I am a widow, disabled, and only having one income makes my finances extremely tight. Thank you so much for this video.

I just got my biblical studies degree super recently, and we had to take a New Testament Exposition course where we just studied the book of John. Our textbook was Encountering John, and I just want to say, THAT IS AN AMAZING RESOURCE!! It truly brought the book of John to life for me. I very highly recommend that book to anyone wanting to study John in a more in-depth way.

Dear Ashley! Wonderful again! ❤❤ Following vigorously! Waiting for the suggested (books) to arrive so I´m a little behind in my readings. Live away from US and so it takes a while for them to get here. In the meantime.... so incredible to study this way! Really! You have a hold on the scriptures and know how to pass the word of God so we can understand. Never had a class like this in my church life. Thank you!

Hi Ash, thank you so much once again for your amazing videos. I honestly look so forward to Bible study videos. I can't wait to dive into the discussion questions and go into more resources. Also a great resource that I use is Enduring Word, I'm not sure if you heard of it before, but it is awesome. I sometimes consider myself as a Bible nerd, even though I am 16 years old, my heart is on FIRE FOR CHRIST! Thank you so much for encouraging me to study my Bible!❤

Mind blown! So...I really enjoy highlighting and annotating my Bible. However, I have struggled to find a system that works for me. Mainly because no single key works for every book of the Bible. It never crossed my mind to have unique "systems" for each book of the Bible to help focus on certain key aspects of that individual book. Thank you so much for sharing this simple tip!

For discussion Q#3: I would highlight sections in John that speak about who Jesus is, how we receive eternal life through Him, His power observed through miracles and His compassion in healing and providing for the people around Him. Jesus’ miracles and healing of others, Jesus calling the disciples, John the Baptist as a witness to Jesus, Jesus sharing salvation to Nicodemus and the woman at the well and Jesus’ authority and diety are themes that stuck out to me. I believe John is wanting us to focus on believing in Jesus, that he is God and that He came to give eternal life to all who believe 🙏🏾 Thanks so much for this Ash! ❤️

Hey! So I started reading the Bible in October and I’ve read so far Matthew, John, Acts, Mark, Luke and now I’m on Revelation!! I’ve learned so much but after watching how much in depth you really go to study His word makes me feel maybe I’m not doing enough. 😔 do you have any advice on how I should start to study more without falling into rabbit holes and confusing myself??

God wants you in his word. Keep going on how you're studying. You're doing great. She has been studying for along time. You're just starting up. I'm 50 years old and I don't have like her. I have a hard time studying the Word of God and I truly Believe and Love The Trinity wholeheartedly. I love to hear how she study her word. They're positive and love God. I take key components from what she may say and implement them in my study time. I'm one income and I wish I could join her group and buy the books however that's not in my budget. I'm listening to John because of Illustrated Faith is doing a Bible Camp this Summer on John. This has helped me. I took away some key components on how I should study John. Keep going on how you're doing or ask her questions. If you have a Bible Study at Church, you could even go that route. Ask your Pastor if you have one. This Channel is a Great Resource that'll help you along the way. You can come back when your ready to go in depth in your study and pick up the resources she suggested when you get ready to dig deeper. I hope I didn't confuse you even worse. Many Blessings Queen 👑🌹🙏🏼 from, Myrene 👑🦋

Hello friend! I really want you to know that I STRUGGLE TO READ AND STUDY MY BIBLE ALL THE TIME! I am not perfect and it is a struggle to study. BUT I choose to persevere. I started VERY SMALL. I did not start reading and studying a lot. Be patient and do not give up! Even the small things you do will add up :) It is so you can GROW CLOSER TO JESUS! Not for anything else. Use this time to grow closer to HIM and let go of everything else.

myrene copeland Myrene the first part of what you said made me tear up. I always feel like I’m not doing enough to study His word but you’re so right!! I will continue to be and read Gods word and in time I’ll learn different components to get a deeper learning. One of these days I’m going to search Bible studies near me because I also want to meet people (just like you) who love the Lord like myself. Thank you for your kind words!! Have a blessed day ❤️❤️

People get John 1:1 and Genesis 1:1 confused some people like to say Jesus was not God in the flesh but there is poof that he was if you look in the front of the Bible in the first book it says in the beginning God created the heaven”s and earth and then if you look in John 1:1 John literally says in the beginning was the word meaning Jesus and the word was with God and the Word was God and all things were made though him and without him nothing was made that has been made ⭐️💜 Hope this makes sense if not I can try and do my best for those that still have questions

The Gospel: Plain and Simple “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3 Ask someone today if they are saved and you will most likely hear responses like these: “I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually knows the gospel that saves them. These use￾less phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people ques￾tioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salva￾tion that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all un￾righteousness and those who follow get in￾dignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sin￾ners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus 3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross 2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath and judgement that was intended for us sin￾ners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial, and resurrection on our behalf that we are able to have peace with God and forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ (Romans 3:22). It is then after we have heard this good news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we are now part of Christ’s body the church (Eph 1:13) There is nothing that we need to do, no good works that are required, and no bad works that can separate us from our new po￾sition in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Faith and belief in this information from God’s word is the gospel. The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your heart. The gospel is not making him lord of your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not being baptized with water. So next time someone asks you if you are saved. Give them the clear assured answer “Yes And let me tell you why Find more free resources at: www.graceambassadors.com
