Why didnt u continue with the roller chain drive system?

Thanks for asking, the only reason is that there is too much friction in the idler pulley/bearing and the chain is way too heavy duty. maybe if i use a smaller chain with an idler sprocket not pully it would be cheaper and great. But i found a seller in aliexpress that can ship to my location so i did the buy once cry once mentality. hehe.

Is it nema 34. Did you use any gear box for gear reduction with stepper motor?

Yes it is nema 34 8nm and gear reduced to 1:6 planetary gear sourced from aliexpress.

@@EfrensDIYCreations does gear box have any backlash. Whats the positioning accuracy of this machine.

@Jagdeep Singh the other gearbox does have backlash Around 0.3 mm but its not going to matter for my purpose. I intend to use this on Woods.
