I spent 50 days of spring to make this cardigan out of 27 sunflower squares. With an average of 2 hours a day knitting or crocheting, means that there’s 100 hours in this cardigan. Because of the variation in this pattern, this has been one of my favorite projects so far. It’s been so fun to combine crocheting with knitting. I used beginner crochet en knitting techniques, so if you’re a bit comfortable with crocheting and knitting, this is a pattern for you!
If you’re summer break is coming up, and you feel like crafting a garment yourself that you will forever cherish. I invite you to grab your yarn, circular knitting needles and a crochet hook, and get started! I used a 5mm crochet hook and 5mm circular knitting needles with a 80cm swivel cord inbetween them.

I am inbetween size S and size M, and this cardigan has an oversized fit on me. If you’d like to create a bigger fit, choose a bigger yarn thickness or a bigger needle and hook size.
